Ben 10: Alien League

Ben was walking through the daily planet with Clark and Lois guiding him through the place with charmcaster right behind him. Lois and Clark were still shocked by the fact that ben had just bought a huge portion of the Daily Planet's shares.

"You never told us you were as rich as Bruce Wayne." Lois said.

"You never asked." Ben said.

"You sure have a lot of secrets for a kid in his early twenties." Lois said.

"You don't know the half of it." Ben said.

"Well, I'm sure you have good reasons." Clark said.

"So, if ben is mr. Rich. What's your story?" Lois said. They had briefly met charmcaster but never heard her story.

"I'm a witch who is working for this goody two shoes as punishment for previous crimes." Charmcaster said. Lois and Clark looked at her.

"Don't worry. I'm keeping an eye on her. She steps out of line I'll reel her back in." Ben said. With that lois and clark picked the tour back up. They showed ben the main floors, cafeteria, and some other important places. It didn't take long.

"May I ask why you bought a part of the daily planet ben?" Lois asked.

"One of the same reasons as boy scout here." Ben said pointing a thumb at clark. "Information is a important thing when it comes to our line of work." Ben said.

"Makes sense." Lois said. Clark nodded.

"Ben I have a question." Clark said.

"Shoot." Ben said.

"Not here. Too many ears. Meet me on the top of the daily planet in a little bit. I'll slip out and meet you there." Clark said before walking away. Ben watched him go before leaving himself after saying bye to lois. Ben then went to the garage and told charmcaster to wait at the car. Ben then transformed into XLR8 and ran up the daily planet building. It wasn't long before clark showed up, still in his suit and tie. Clark recognized ben by the omnitrix badge on his chest.

"Thanks for meeting me here ben." Clark said.

"So what's this about? Superhero work?" Ben asked.

"Yes actually. I wanted to invite you to the hall of justice. You say you've saved the world by yourself before. That's qualifies you for the justice league. The league could use someone like you with your years of experience and amazing strength. I know you're already a part of this intergalactic police force but that doesn't mean you can't join us." Clark said. Ben smiled.

"Thanks for the invitation. I'll think about it. After all I am a plumber. That kinda has to come first. I mean the earth is only one out of billions of planets. All of them need help. I can't just pick favorites." Ben said. Clark nodded his.

"Ok. You know where we are if you ever decided to join us." Clark said. He then went back inside the building. Ben went back to charmcaster at his car before driving back to Bellwood.

"So what was that about?" Charmcaster asked.

"I just got invited to the justice league." Ben said.

"Oh joy." Charmcaster said. She then looked at him. "So are you gonna join them?"

"Maybe. I want to talk with grandpa about it first. Get his opinion." Ben said. With that ben started in the direction of the trailer park grandpa max stayed in.

Ben pulled into the trailer park and honked his horn to alert his grandpa that he was here. Max opened the door and smiled when he saw his grandson.
