The next day

Y/n woke up first, and since she didn't have Lizzie sleeping on her chest anymore, she took the chance to get up and go to the bathroom. When she walked out of the bathroom, Lizzie was still sleeping, which gave her the idea of making breakfast before she got up.

Y/n decided to make pancakes since Lizzie really seems to love them. This time she wanted to make them with a little bit of her touch.

In the pancake mix, she put a pinch of cinnamon. When they were done she put fruits on them, it was all she had since she needed to go to the grocery store already.

She tried her best to make it look perfect. She picked blueberries, what she had left of strawberries, bananas, and just with that, she slowly set them in different places until she was satisfied with how it looked. When she was done, she put syrup and powdered sugar on top of everything, which for her it made it look prettier.

Just when Y/n was done, Lizzie woke up. She looked to her side and noticed that Y/n wasn't there. Feeling upset that she wasn't next to her when she woke up, she got up from the bed to look for her.

When Y/n saw Lizzie walk out of the room, she quickly put the plates in the kitchen table.

Y/n: "Just in time, gorgeous." She smiles.

Lizzie smiles back the second she sees what was placed on the table.

Lizzie: "You made this?" She furrowed her brows, noticing how proud Y/n looked at her.

Y/n: "I sure did."

Lizzie sits down. "You've impressed me, Y/L/N."

Y/n: "Good to know, Olsen." She smiled and gave Lizzie a kiss before also sitting down.

Lizzie was just about to start eating her pancakes, but instead she decided to take the chance to talk to y/n first.

Lizzie: "I have to tell you something."

Y/n: "What is it?" She asks, the moment felt so nice, that she wasn't expecting anything bad.

Lizzie sighs. "I'm leaving... tonight. " She says.

Y/n: "Tonight?" Her happiness dropped for a second. "Why?"

Lizzie: "I swear I don't want to, but I have to. I need to talk to my mom."

Y/n: "When did you even... plan it?"

Lizzie: "When my mom called. I just- I didn't want to tell you yesterday because it was such a great day."

Y/n: "You really should've told me." She says, which Lizzie could tell she was disappointed. "But it's fine. Let's take advantage of today, I guess." She weakly smiles.

Lizzie: "I'll be back, I promise." She puts her hand on top of y/n's.

Y/n: "You better." She jokingly demanded.

Lizzie began eating her breakfast.

Lizzie: "Can I ask you something?"
