Chapter 44 - Drag Race

After yesterday, Y/n spent the whole day in her room.

Y/n was laying on her bed, and Alissa on the couch. While Y/n was going through her phone, she got a call from Hailee.

Hailee: "Heyyy." She says really excited.

Y/n: "Hey."

Hailee: "How are you doing?"

Y/n: "I'm good." She says. "How are you? You sound really happy."

Hailee: "Oh well that's because I am."

Y/n: "Hmm, and why is that?" She asked, forgetting the fact that Hailee was coming back today.

Hailee didn't answer the question, and all of the sudden Alissa called Y/n.

Alissa: "Y/n!" She shouts from the living room.

Y/n: "What?!" Shouts back.

Alissa: "Someone's at the door!"

Y/n gets up from her bed, still with her phone in her hand, and goes to the door to look who it was.

Y/n opens the door, "Hailee!" and says.

Hailee: "Hii."

The two girls give each other a hug, while Alissa stared at them from the couch.

Y/n: "I'm so glad you're back."

Hailee pulls away from the hug, "I missed you." and looks at Y/n in the eyes.

Y/n smiles. "I missed you too."

Alissa: "Well hello there." She says while approaching to them, purposely interrupting their moment.

Hailee chuckles while Y/n rolled her eyes.

Hailee: "How are you, Alissa?"

Alissa: "I'm great." She nods.

Hailee: "That's good. I'm here to take your sister out with me, is that okay?" She sarcastically asks.

Alissa: "Yeah, yeah. Just make sure to bring her before 10."

Hailee laughs. "Noted."

Alissa looks at Y/n. "You need to get ready sis, you look like shit-"

Y/n: "Alright that's enough."

Hailee laughs again. "I can wait here if you want."

Y/n: "Yeah, come inside. I get ready quickly-."

Alissa laughs. "That's a lie."

Hailee laughed at Alissa's joke while Y/n tried telling her sister to stop with gestures.

While Y/n was getting ready in her room, Hailee and Alissa sat in the couch waiting.

Alissa: "So... how's life, Hailee Steinfeld?"

Hailee smiles. "It's great, Alissa."

Alissa: "That's good." She says. "Y'know, for someone who's really famous, you sure know how to keep it a secret." She adds, referring to her being a celebrity.

Hailee: "You know?"

Alissa: "Clearly."

Hailee: "I'm sorry for keeping it a secret, I just didn't think it was something important."

Alissa: "Well it is. And very." She began saying. "If you want to have something with my sister, you should start with being honest with her. She has been hurt, and I know you know by who, and that 'who' also being a celebrity. You don't want to be like her- I know you're not like her. I just would really like for my sister to finally be happy. I know you're seeing her smile right now but that bitch knows how to hide her feelings damn well, and you will never know when she's not okay because she doesn't even say anything."
