Chapter 9: The Studio

Y/N's POV
it's the next morning and i wake up the facetime Lani. she answered mad quick.

"good morning beautiful." Lani says smiling

"good morning. when did you wake up?" i ask

"like, 30 minutes ago, i was waiting for you to call me." she said

"someone misses me." i say with a grin

"don't nobody miss you girl." she said

"well if that's the case, i guess i'll just hang up." i said

"no no no no no, i'm sorry." she said

"please stay." she begged

"fine." i playfully roll my eyes

i lean my phone against my lamp and the nightstand and sit up to stretch.

"i know what you did." i say still kinda tired

"it was cute, i had to." she had a big smile on her face.

i grab my phone from the nightstand and get up to walk to the kitchen.

i prop my phone up on the counter and start boiling water.

"what you doin?" Lani asked

"i'm making tea, i drink it every morning." i say

"me too, i just finished mine." she said

"was it good?"

"of course." she said

"i'm glad."

i go into the cabinet to grab a tea bag and a mug.

"damn, yo ass is fat." Lani said

i turn around and look at her.

"it's too early for all that." i start to laugh

"it's 11:15 in the morning mama, it's almost lunch time." Lani said

"you know what." i roll my eyes and turn back around

"let me see you." Lani said

"hold on, i'm tryna pour this water." i say

"wow." she said

"what?"

"you not gon let me see your fine self? i think that's mean." i looked at her and she has her arms crossed.

"stop, look at me." i say

"thank you mama, you so beautiful." she says

"stop, imma blush again." i say

"fine, but i need to ask you a question." she say

"what's the question?"

"you wanna come to the studio with me later and make a song with me?" she had a smile on her face

"yes, of course i'll go with you, what time?" i ask

"an hour." she says

"ight imma get ready, you want me to pick you up?" i ask

"nah, imma come get you mama." she says

"okay, i'll see you later my love." i say

"see you later my baby." she hung up the phone and i sat down to drink my tea.

i went into my room and started to get ready for a shower.

i start washing myself and i hear a knock on my door 5 minutes later.
