Chapter 10: Surprises

Lani's POV
i wake up to see that i'm getting a call from y/n/n. i pick it up and start talking.

"good morning my love, how did you sleep?" she asked

"good, thank you for asking mama." i say

"where are you driving?" i opened up my eyes to see that she was in her car.

"to you." she says looking at the camera.

i yawn and...

Y/N/N🍯 took a FaceTime photo.

"man..." i say

"i'm driving to you because i have a surprise for you and DeyDey, take your time getting ready cause i won't be there for a while." she says

"can you at least tell me what time we're going?" i ask

"2:00." she says

"ight, imma go wake up Adeya and get us ready, i'll see you in a bit, baby, okay?" i say

"see you in a bit, babe, bye." she blew a kiss

"bye mama." i hang up and get out of bed.

i go to the bathroom and brush my teeth.

after that, i walk to Adeya's room and sit on her bed.

"good morning, baby, you gotta wake up, we got things to do today."

after she wakes up, i pick her up and bring her to the bathroom for a bath. she plays with her toys while i wash her.

i take her out and get her dressed. as i am, i hear a knock on the door.

i go downstairs to see who it is.

"who is it?" i ask

"it's me bae." y/n/n said

i opened the door and let her in.

"hey love." she said as she leaned in for a hug.

"hey my baby." i say hugging her back

"i stopped and got y'all some breakfast." she started to smile

"awwww, thank you my baby." i give her a kiss

"you almost ready?" she asks

"nah, i was getting DeyDey ready, i'm bouta take a shower tho, can you watch her for me?" i ask

"of course." she says

"thank you ma." i kiss her and we walk upstairs.

"hi DeyDey." y/n/n said and Adeya got up and ran over to her.

she picked her up and started showering her with love and affection. the giggles that came from DeyDey were so cute.

"imma go take a shower, i'll be back." i say

"imma go downstairs and feed her, take your time in there, we won't be leaving for a while." she said
