Chapter 17: Final Week

Lani's POV

it's been 7 months since i've seen y/n/n and she's on her final week of tour dates. she just came back from her South American tour last night, she told me all about it this morning when we called. 1 more week until i feel like my life is complete again. it's been so weird without her here, i've cried sometimes because i miss her so much, but she's coming soon and i can't wait to have her here with me and Adeya again.

she told me that when she gets here, she wants to relax, cuddle and put a movie on with me and Adeya, she said "i don't need anything fancy or expensive, i just wanna be with my girls" and i think that's beautiful. i love how she cares for Adeya like she's her own, it's the best.

i've been meaning to talk to Destin about y/n/n's last tour date since she hopes we can come out and perform. i ended up telling her i won't be able to make it cause i have a busy schedule, but it was a lie.

i decided that i'm gonna surprise her instead. it's better than her thinking i won't be there. i cant wait to see her. me and Destin are going to lunch today anyway, so i'll tell him then.

Y/N's POV

back in the US after traveling South America for 2 months. it was so fun, but i'm glad to be back. 7 more days until i get to see Keh again. these past 7 months have been so many things: hard, rewarding, fun, scary, sad, but all worth it because i'm living my dreams.

one of my final shows today is in Vegas and i've decided to bring Megan out with me again. she let me stay at her house for the past couple days while i've been here.

we've made a song while i've been here already. she's my second favorite person to make music with, no one can compare to Lani.

"Megan, come on, we gotta get to the arena."

"y/n/n, i'm coming, give me a minute."

did i mention that Chris and Meg started dating? who would've thought.

"Tell Chris to unlock the car."

"CHRISSSSS"

"yes Meg?"

"can you unlock the car for y/n/n please?"

"yup."

"thank you, hubby."

i heard the door unlock and got into the car. i decided to facetime Lani while i was alone.

"hey babe."

"hey ma, how are you?"

"i'm good, how are you?"

"i'm great, i'm waiting for you to get back, i can't wait."

"i can't wait to be back, i just wish i could perform with you, i'd love for us to perform 'Change Your Life' together."

"i wish i could too, i've just been so busy this week, but i promise i'll make it up to you."

"i know you will." we laughed and smiled at each other

"i'll call you later, i'm about to go to one of the final 3 shows."

"ight, remember what i told you, you got this, i'll see you later, ma."

"bye, i love you."

"i love you too, my baby, bye."

i hung up and Chris and Megan come up to the car. they get in and Chris starts driving.

"two more shows after this and you're done." Meg said
