𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 in a small few bags was rather simple, I inspected my other pills I had, "That's enough for a week to help me sleep." I muttered to myself shoving it in my bag. "Ya comin' kiddo? Gotta get goin'." My daddy told me grabbing his crossbow, "Ya am comin' hold up." I spoke back putting the things on my back and going towards my daddy. "We off in the truck?" I asked him. "Ya bet we are." He smirked as we went over to the group. I remember when Merle first got that truck...

Flashback...

𝐈 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 read again, momma was fast asleep snoring loudly from all the alcohol. I put my book down after I was struggling, I was only 12. "Enjoy ya restin' momma." I whispered placing a blanket over her and planting a kiss on her forehead. She worked as a part time barmaid so slept through the day, Merle sold drugs and shit and daddy did the hunting. I went back to my book, "Animal Farm" studying the pages and attempting to find some interest as I liked reading. My teachers told me I was smart for my age, just couldn't read them all that well.

Suddenly there was a horn honking outside loudly, "Special delivery!" A voice sounding a lot like my uncle's shouted. I smiled yet noticed momma didn't wake up, must have been sleeping heavily. "Cmon anyone home!" The voice shouted again as I opened the front door going on my tiptoes to do so. "There's ma Addison!" He smirked hopping out the truck and running up to me. Merle picked me up spinning me around, "Ya wanna see what I got huh?" Merle asked with a smile as I giggled.

"Yeah I do. Momma's asleep though she gotta shift later right?"  I smiled to him. "Don't ya be worryin' bout that kidda. Ya uncle Merle has it covered." He assured me as we went toward his truck. "Wow." I gasped amazed by the vehicle. "Don't tell ya daddy want ma baby brother to be surprised." Merle hummed opening the door, "Ya wanna go inside?"  "Ya I really do! Please! I don't wanna study anymore." I told him and with that Merle hopped inside and placed me on his lap.

"Nah no one likes studyin' kid. When I were your age I went out with ma mates." He grinned as I smiled. "I wish I were like ya and daddy uncle Merle." I told him as he sighed. "Ya really don't kid. Now cmon let's got for a drive!" Merle announced as I smiled, "Yeah!" I met his eyes for a moment, "Hey Merle?" I spoke to him. "Yeah Addilo?" He grinned. "Why does momma and daddy fight?" I questioned meeting Merle's eyes.
