"I thought my next appointment was supposed to be in two weeks." Jisung asked as he leaned back in the comfy chair, giving his therapist a confused look as she scribbled stuff down in a notepad.
"I thought I'd just check up on you." Haneul gave him a smile as she placed the notepad on her knee. "How have you been doing Jisung?"
"Great..I guess?" He ran his fingers along the fabric of the soft chair. He couldn't think of anything in particular that she would want to find out, life has been pretty normal for him recently. "I mean nothing much has happened."
"I heard about that incident at SM." She brought up as Jisung hummed in realization as to why he was invited.
"I got out before I let myself panic." He said, knowing that was what she wanted to hear. "I mean I did for a bit, but I guess I thought the place was on fire so I did one of those things you recommended and it worked."
"That's great." She let out a relieved sigh. "I'm super proud of you for that."
"Thanks." He smiled, glad that his struggle was acknowledged. It was hard, and he chose to pretend it never happened when others asked him where he went.
"What's the faint count looking at?" She asked, it was a question she would ask every time he went, and the answers we're never really consistent.
"One." He said proudly, holding up a finger. "Less than last time but then again we are two weeks early."
"Let's not push it aside either way, it's still an achievement." She said with a smile.
"It was after a practice session and a technical issue or something happened and the song like literally blasted through the room. I know you haven't heard it yet but the hot sauce intro can be quite shocking so I guess since I was already tired my brain just gave up." He explained as his hands moved along, describing the story through gestures. "I guess it only happens when I'm too tired to have a panic attack."
"I think you're right." Haneul wrote swiftly on the notepad, making not eof each time he's fainted. "The past few times have been similar." She looked at the sheet, flicking through the pages for connections. "Anyways, how have you been feeling overall?"
"Well.." Jisung thought, he hasn't really noticed how he's been feeling since the boys have been too busy preparing for their full album comeback to really focus on anything else. "Fine I guess, I've just been a bit too busy too pay attention." He explained as Haneul nodded understandingly, being soulmates with an idol made her perfect for understanding what idol life was like, which was mainly why Jisung likes her as a therapist, she's also good at her job of course. "I'm a bit worried about comeback season to be honest."
"From what I've seen, you're really good at handling things. I have faith that you'll get through it." If anything does happen, please try to do what you did when the fire alarm went off." Haneul assured in her usual comforting tone. "Also, make sure to avoid caffeine especially before performances."
