"I'm guessing you saw the tweet." Mirae brought up as the two made their way down the quiet alleyway, barely being able to see a thing.
"I did, and this-" Sungchan shook up the can in his hand before putting it back into his pocket. "It was the fastest way for the situation to get out."
"Who would have thought, a kpop idol like you would be interested in societal injustice." Mirae scoffed as he snickered, as if he was surprised himself. The light that they fell under had given her a quick look of the fiery glint in his eyes.
"I've been doing things like this before then. I do like being an idol though I just wish they let us use our platforms to speak about such things." Sungchan spoke honestly, his hands buried in his pockets. "But really I just wanted to get out of the dorm for a bit."
"Why?" Asked Mirae, a sudden realisation that she hadn't replied to Jisung's message dawned upon her, feeling bad about it. She didn't want him to think that she was dropping her side of the deal.
"Ah I'm guessing you haven't heard yet. Everything's in a bit of a blitz because of the comeback, but also Chenle and his ex got back together." He explained.
"Is that a bad thing?" She wondered.
Sungchan glanced at her momentarily, letting out a small laugh. "Surely Jisung would have told you about the fight he had with Chenle right?"
She gulped. "Yeah...I remember now. So how's the reactions to it then?"
"Bad, but Jisung can probably tell you the story in better detail, I wasn't there when it happened." He shrugged. "She's just not a very nice person."
"Ah I see." She muttered walking the streets slowly getting brighter as they reach the city.
"So." He breathed out with a huff. "Does your boyfriend know you go around spray painting buildings at midnight or is that something I should keep to myself?"
Mirae chuckled lightly at his words, shaking her head. "He doesn't but even if he finds out he wouldn't be surprised, I would appreciate if you kept it to yourself though."
"Will do, as long as you do the same." He nodded as the two stopped at the intersection, standing in the midst of apartment buildings that surrounded them like forest.
"I'm assuming you're going right." She spoke, turning to him as his eyes didn't stop smiling. It was rare that she found someone who had somethings in common with her, and on top of that, Mirae couldn't help but find his presence oddly comforting.
