This is only a product of my imagination. This might contain some spoiler from the Tokyo Revenger manga but it's not and it won't follow the original plot so it might get confusing. I would like to ask for your consideration and your respect because I'm an amateur and will probably have too many mistakes. Thank you and enjoy ❤

Chapter 1 - Hero

"Heeeeeeeeh? What's this? Why are they doing this to my mikey?! TAKEMITCHY! YOU BETTER GO SAVE HIM OR I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!!!" You screamed as you finished reading the latest chapter of Tokyo Revengers.

It just got an anime adaptation so you weren't really planning on watching it, much less reading it. But it was so hyped that your curiosity got the best of you and now... Here you are, left hanging and wanting more.

"Y/N!! WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING?! ARE YOU GOING MAD?! AREN'T YOU EMBARRASSED?!? MY GOD!" You rolled your eyes and covered your ears as your mother's loud voice filled the house. You're even louder. You thought.

You laid down on your bed with a sigh. Thinking of what you've just read and guessing what will happen next. Crying for Baji and Emma's death. And most of all...

"FUUUUUUUUCK... MITSUYA'S SO HOT BRUH. BUT KAZUTORA'S EVEN HOTTER!! NO, THE HAITANI BROTHERS ARE EVEN BETTER IN THE TIME SKIP! WAIT.. I SHOULDN'T FORGET ABOUT THE BROKEN AND DEPRESSED HANMA.. BUT IF IT'S ABOUT DEPRESSED LOOKS, MY MIKEY GOT THE 1ST PLACE!!" You blurted out as you stand up and jumped on your bed.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*

Oops...

"Y/n, didn't I already told you? That- DON'T BE SO FUCKING LOUD. ARE YOU DEAF?! DO YOU WANT ME TO SEW YOUR MOUTH?! IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO THEN ATLEAST GO BUY SOME GROCERIES!" Your mother yelled. It didn't really bothered you to be honest. It has already become a daily basis after all. Yelling over even the little things making you immune to the verbal abuses.

"Okaaaay. I'll just change my clothes. Leave the money and the list on the table. Thanks." You calmy said. Throughout the years, you learned that talking in a monotonous voice helps shorten the nagging and hence, stopping the 'fight'.

..

"Then I'll be going." You bid your goodbye with a kiss on the forehead as a sign of respect.

It's a Filipino tradition to always be respectful to your elders. Either put the back of their hands on your forehead or give them a kiss on the cheeks or their temple. You do this whenever you leave for a while and when you come home.

Sometimes it's just to show respect, but most of the time, it's done to show the person that you love them, you'll miss them, and that you'll come home to them too.

In your case, even though you and your mother's relationship is quite toxic, deep down you love and understand why she's annoying at times. But really, sometimes when she's gone overboard, you can't think of anything but to leave her. Still, you stayed. Because you're family.

*sigh*

what can I say? I might be a failure of a daughter but nothing can make me trade her for anything. You thought as your lips formed into a smile.

"Php 3,760.25 ma'am... I received Php 4,000... Thank you have a great day." The lady on the cashier finished giving you the receipt. You also thanked her and then grabbed the bags and go.
