Chapter 48 - He'll Die

Once, there was a reader who loved a certain story so much that she couldn't stop reading it until she caught up to its latest chapter that was released.

Later after dying from an accident, she became a part of that same story she loved. Although she started with a very rough life that made her distant and uncaring, it still amazed her whenever a scenario from the story unveils infront of her. Just like what was happening right now.

Sitting on the top of the staircase with your face resting on the top of your palm, you watched how the huge crowd of people wearing the same black uniform bow their heads as Mikey and the others walked through the middle. Looking so intimidating as his own uniform that he was casually wearing on his shoulders fluttering in the wind. His hands hiding in his pockets.

Psh. The 'Invincible Mikey' has finally arrived. You thought to yourself as you rolled your eyes at him which he just replied with a chuckle as he walked up the stairs. Stopping when he was finally beside you.

"You look quite happy to see me. Did you miss me that much?" He whispered. Obviously trying to piss you off. But since you've been through his shit for a long time now, you didn't pay him any attention as you were busy staring at the yellow head kid that had almost the same lame hairstyle as Shinichiro back when he was still a part of a gang.

He looks like a lost pup. You smirked. Amused by his silly reactions as he wandered his gaze.

"Oi, don't try anything funny. That guy's mine." Hearing Mikey's irritated voice made you heave a big sigh. Switching your attention from Takemichi to this big baby beside you.

"Can't you just stop trying to be annoying for a minute? I'm already irritated enough as it is, don't make it worse. I don't mind having some exercise right now." You hissed as you glared at him. Calling every possible God that you know to give you more patience.

Mikey just gave out a tsk in response and focused on the gang members below. Proceeding to start the meeting.

On the other hand, you just returned your attention to the star of the night- scratch that, he's the star of this story. Mikey's new found friend. Hanagaki Takemichi.

He looks exactly like how he was in the manga. You thought. Feeling satisfied for some reason.

"Now then, let me hear what everyone thinks." Mikey announced as he sat down beside you. Showing an assuring smile to everyone before turning to you. "What do you think? Should we fight them?" He asked seriously.

"Dunno. I'm not a part of Toman." You replied shortly as you boredly looked at how Pah kicked Takemichi out of the way. If not for Mitsuya, then Takemichi would get himself beat up.

"But Pah is my friend. That's enough reason to slaughter Moebius myself." You added. Turning your gaze away from the bunch and faced Mikey who was also staring at you. His expression was- once again, unreadable. Making you huff and focused on Pah who was currently climbing the stairs. "But it's better ask him what he wants to do and then go with it."
