Chapter 36 - Make It Grand

Time has always been fast.

It's like it was just yesterday when Izana delivered me the news about him not having any blood relations with Emma. You thought as you remember the events that occurred over the past months.

Just like how it happened in the manga, Izana declared that he'll take over Black Dragon which he did flawlessly. He had also learned about Shinichiro's other brother, Mikey. But unlike his reaction from the manga, he was matured about it. He said that he have you and Kakuchou anyway. Quite surprising but you were pretty happy about it.

But then, the truth about his existence made him furious. Shinichiro knew and yet he didn't tell him, of course he would be.

Izana got so confused and angry, he lost control of himself. He just destroyed everything. He even refused to see you during that time which you absolutely hated. You were so angry at him that you ended up slapping him just to make him listen to you. Of course, you apologized afterwards.

But that was the first time you guys fought after you came back from getting kidnapped.

I can't forget how he cried that day. You thought. I almost wanted to hurt Shinichiro-nii-san for it. Glad I didn't.

Thankfully, Izana was able to move on slowly. He forgave and talked to Shinichiro the same moment he stepped down as the leader of the 8th generation of Black Dragon since he almost ruined the gang. Though, the next appointed Leader isn't any better.

Speaking of Izana, he just told you to come by Shinichiro's workshop. And since you weren't that busy today, you decided to come. That's why you're currently on your way there.

Ever since Izana stepped down as the leader of Black Dragons, he had been hanging around S•S Motors frequently. You're not sure of the reason though.

"I don't know what's his deal. I mean, didn't he just started a gang with Kakuchou and the others? Shouldn't he be taking care of that?" You mumbled to yourself as you took the cans of coca cola from the vending machine. You opened one of the cans and drank it on the way. Enjoying the peace you have.

Currently, you're just accepting a lot of contract killings left and right since there wasn't anything to do. Money was constantly coming in and there's no fly trying to bother you. Wang's group is also stable and is even getting more powerful.

Come to think of it, you have almost nothing to think about. But you couldn't wash away the feeling that something's up. Especially about Henry. I don't know what's going on with him but he stopped bothering me. And that's too suspicious to shrug off.

"That bitch is up to something. I can feel it." You muttered as you clenched the empty can on your hand. Looking for a trashcan to put it. You spotted one at a corner of an alley.

But as you walked towards it, you found something else that instantly made you frown.

Oh look, someone's bullying a helpless little boy! Help! You thought sarcastically as you watched 7 guys gang up on a little kid. And not just some other guys.
