*Eret POV*

I woke up to Tommy snoring loudly and occasionally he would talk in his sleep. I look around the room surprised to not see Wilbur. I walked out our room looking for Wilbur, Tommy can take care of himself for a bit. Not his brother so I don't need to worry.

I checked the halls on our floor and went done the stairs when I found nothing but the rooms, most empty, few occupied. Heard some moans from one of the room too...let's hope Wilbur wasn't in that room. I look around downstairs seeing Wilbur thankfully only chatting with the lady we checked in with.

"Thank god I thought you went out and fucked someone, would've been so annoying to get you back" I saw Wilbur blush obviously a bit embarrassed "y-you'd think I'd go around and fuck people??" I shrugged "I dunno what your virgin ass wants to do out here" He gave me an annoyed glare while the feline chuckled.

"You two together or something?" I nearly gagged. No offense, Wilbur is a good looking interesting guy but we do not go together...maybe as friends but as lovers? Hell no.

"No me and Eret aren't together we're just on a trip chilling as any two bros would. We also unfortunately had to bring my little brother Tommy, he's um..he's special" Wilbur smiled and she gave a warm one back. "Alright den, where ya headed? If You don't mind me asking o' course"

"We are headed to the arachnid kingdom to have a word with the royals." I said, her eyes seemed to light up. "Oh is dat so? Dedn't know I was dealin wit business men" she chuckled. She was about to say something but got interrupted by a kid yelling. Our kid yelling....

"ERET, WILBY WHY DID YOU LEAVE LIKE THAT" I heard him sniffing and everything so me and Wilbur turn around just to face a little birdie called Tommy on the brink of tears...now I just feel bad.

"Oh! Tommy are you alright? Sorry I didn't mean to scare you, honestly thought eret would stay there..sorry Tom" Wilbur opened his arms and hugged him, letting the boy let it all out in the hug...

Then Tommy sniffed and looked at me and I panicked "E-Eret...c..c-can..I get a h-hug from you too?.." his eyes were red from crying, hair was messier than usual, and he was still sniffling. So..I opened my arms...Tommy definitely didn't hesitate to run into my arms and start crying into my shoulder.

I heard awws from Wilbur and minx so I got Tommy off, Tommy isn't too short but he's under Wilburs shoulder length. He's tall for his age, he's only thirteen.

I look at the clock to see it's 9 am and sigh "we should get going now, if you have shit in the hotel room get it now. I wanna get to the kingdom as soon as possible to get this over with"

So they did just that, Wilbur and tommy raced up the stairs and got they're, I got a few things and cursed at myself for forgetting to buy Wil an umbrella when I looked outside to see it was sunny. Then we went down and checked out.

As we opened the door minx says her goodbye and mumbles something that Wilbur and Tommy seemed to miss...but I definitely didn't...

"Tell Schlatt I said 'ello, it's been so long since We've talked.."

*????? POV*

the arachnid kingdom recently lost a small battle to the humans, it's been so long since we've lost a battle...we can't afford to let this get out. Dad would be disappointed if he saw how I'm doing leading the soldiers...I sigh, I hear the door open, footsteps coming from behind my chair, I look to the side to see my brother standing in his usual business outfit.

"Stressed?" He spoke, his voice deep and a bit raspy.

"I'm supposed to defend this kingdom, of course I'm stressed...what....what would dad think..." he sighed and sat down in the chair besides mine, the sounds of the fireplaces burns settle in the background as we sit quietly, both of us waiting for someone to speak up.

"Sis I miss him too but you gotta learn to move on, think about what the kingdom needs...we're royals..we are arachnids, We can't show any weakness." I nodded "hey." He says, I look up and look into his red amber eyes "you took down an army of phantoms at the age of fifteen...you holding back on some humans?" He chuckles, I shake my head and let a small smile form.

"Thanks schlatt, I appreciate it...I'm just worried I might not be good enough to lead us to victory....I know they aren't actually wars but it worry's me that we can't even win something as small as this, it goes against everything we stand for" I stare into the fireplace, I hear a sigh from my younger brother.

"If your too scared to take them down then that's fine you know, it'll only effect the whole kingdom...just tell mom, I'm sure she'll understand. Maybe they'll even consider giving your position to me" he said in a joking manner. I just chuckle along with him.

"Hey schlatt?" He hums in response, letting me know I have his attention as he downs a glass of some liquor he's told me about while I wasn't paying attention. "Do...do you believe in my strength?" I look him in the eyes as he puts his now empty glass down and looks at me.

"Sister...Your strength isn't what's going to lead us to victory. Your leadership will"

"And...what if I'm not good enough of a leader?" My voice croaked as silence fills the room.

"Let's hope that's not the case" he stands towering over me in my seat. He walks out the room, his footsteps fill the room as he reaches the exit. I wait for the sound of the door opening, but after a few seconds i hear his voice instead.

"But for what it's worth..I do believe your good enough puffy"
