41 - Daddy's girl

Sannie opened the front door of their house, holding it for Lisa and Areum like he always did whenever they got home. It was Friday which meant school had ended for the week and he loved the weekends even more.

''Sweetie, go wash your hands and I will make lunch, okay?'' Lisa told him after going to the kitchen with her daughter in her arms. Jeonsan directly headed to the bathroom, but Lisa's phone rang just then.

''Pick up, it's probably your dad,'' she was busy placing Areum in her stool to eat. Jeonsan took her phone and giggled, picking up and pressing speaker phone.

''Did you get home, love?'' Jungkook's usual soft tone was heard. Sannie decided to be a bit playful and answered, ''We did, Jungkook,'' in a serious pretend-to-be-mans-voice.

''It's dad to you, and I don't think you really want that big box of ice cream I was going to bring you anymore,'' Jungkook softly scolded him and threatened as a subtle joke, making his son back down easily.

''I do! I'm sorry, dad. I was kidding,'' the kid genuinely took it back and heard Kook's chuckle on the other line.

''Where's your mom?''

''I'm here, we're gonna eat, baby. What are you doing?'' Lisa answered, opening the fridge.

''I'm out with Jimin hyung, gonna be home around 6pm,'' Jungkook informed.

''Okay, baby, be safe, we love you,'' Lisa softly reminded him.

''Love you, dad,'' Jeonsan added.

''You really want that ice cream, don't you?'' Jungkook teased and laughed, ''I love you all, see you later,'' then they ended the call.

Around 6, Jungkook got home right on time. Lisa was cooking the dinner and Sannie was playing with his sister. Seeing his dad arrive, he exclaimed, ''Ice creaaaaaaaam!''

''After dinner, little rascal,'' Jungkook put in in the freezer, then backhugged his wife and kissed her ear.

''You're home,'' Lisa smiled, relaxing.

''I'm home.'' He confirmed, closing his eyes, enjoying the moment.

Areum started crying suddenly and Jeonsan didn't know what to do. ''Mom, dad!''

Jungkook approached them on the carpet, sitting down and opening his arms to her. Areum stopped crying and walked to him, sitting on his lap.

''How's my princess? Why did you have to be so fussy? Hm?'' he made cute faces to his babygirl and made her smile.

''You're really going to be our daughter's first crush,'' Lisa joked from the kitchen. ''Look at the way she's looking at you, you totally stole her heart away.'' Areum was staring at him with her big baby eyes.

''I'm quite charming, babe.'' Jungkook winked at Lisa and laughed at it.

''Dad, do you have superpowers? How do you always make her smile so easily?'' Jeonsan was in awe. ''Did I do the same as a baby?''

''No, you were momma's boy,'' Kook admitted bitterly, ''but I got my revenge now.'' he teased Lisa.

''Excuse me, I am the mom, I carried them for 9 months!'' she argued. The boys laughed.

''That's right, your mom is a superhero, son. Never forget that.'' Jungkook was honest this time and always reminded Sannie that Lisa was the best mom he could ever get.

Lisa was in her 7th month of pregnancy and it was the end of the summer. Back then, BTS had a lot of schedule planned, despite being married and having kids. One day, Jungkook was at work, shooting interviews and commercials all day and Lisa was supposed to rest at home. He had made sure she would take it easy, making all their friends take care of her whenever she was with someone out.

On that day, Lisa decided to go out with Bambam for a walk because she was going crazy, locked at home. As they were chatting in the park, she felt sudden and sharp pain in her belly.

''Bammie, something isn't right!'' Lisa leaned on her bestfriend for support because of the pain.

''Liz, what's going on??'' he got really worried.

''I don't know, it hurts so much!'' the pain was so much to handle. Bam made her sit on a bench.

''Should I call 911? Lisa, why did we decide to go out?! Jungkook is going to kill me! Like actually rip me apart!'' Lisa was just whining in pain while Bam dialed for an ambulance.

And true to his worries, of course as soon as Jungkook knew, he literally flew to the hospital in worry. Upon arriving, he saw Bam outside Lisa's room and walked angrily to him.

''Bro, calm down!'' Bam raised his hands in defense, Jungkook was half fuming with anger, half with concern for his wife.

''Don't bro me! Why did you have to take her out?!''

''She called me, she wanted to go outside for a while! I'm so sorry, but bro, she is fine!''

Jungkook took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment.

''She is okay, the baby too, she just had some cramp..'' Bam explained and Jungkook felt relieved. ''It's that room over there,'' he pointed and Jungkook just walked in the room.

The nurse was just leaving Lisa and the two were alone in the room. Kook just stood there but Lisa couldn't contain the tears. She began sobbing and he walked to her, holding her.

''I was so scared,'' she whispered against his shoulder. ''I've never been more scared..''

''Don't cry, baby,'' Jungkook kissed her forehead and looked at her face. ''We're okay, everything's okay.''

''I'm so sorry, you were right, I shouldn't have left home,''

''Love, I was worried I wasn't with you,'' Jungkook kissed her softly. ''I'm not mad, I love you.''

''I love you more,'' she smiled as he kissed her hands as well.

''Let's get you both home.''
