JEAN said she likes him.
But deep within he expected something.... more profound than just a mere liking.
Was it love?
Ano bang gusto niyang marinig? Despite from the fact na they are official now, Jean never really said anything. At kahit siya.
Fine. He would admit that he's attracted to her but who wouldn't?
With a face like a goddess? A body that even the most sought after model would wished to have.
Bakit ba siya parang dissapointed eh hindi naman talaga niya mahal ang dalaga?
He frowned.
Instead of thinking about useless things he should just focus on his plan, his goal.
"A penny for your thoughts? You seemed irritated, bud." Lumingon siya sa kaibigan.
It was Collins Herrera, his Spanish friend slash business partner. They owned a beach resort in Greece which his friend personally designed. Collin's an architect.
"What brought you here?" He asked instead of answering.
"Thomas told me to come. Namimiss niya na raw tayo, lalo kana. You've been quite busy these days." Dumiretso ito sa bar counter para kumuha ng alak.
Siya naman ay dumiretso sa kwarto niya para magbihis. Kauuwi lang niya galing sa paghatid kay Jean. Dinala niya ito sa tagaytay para surpresahin at mag dinner. He did not expect Jean would say yes.
Collins shouted, "What do you want? Martini or Vodka?"
"Just beer." He yelled back at naglakad na palabas ng matapos siya magpalit.
Bigla naman bumukas ang pinto niya. Hindi na niya kailangang lingunin kung sino iyon. Only Collins and Thomas knew his passcode. And of course his brother and their two other friends.
He was living in his own house for a year now, located in a subdivision within the heart of Taguig. What can he say, he loves the city. The energy, the liveliness. It was a two storey spacious house, a combination of glass, wood, black, and white walls. A modern style indeed.
Unang kita pa lang niya sa bahay ay nagustuhan na niya. Naalala pa niya kung paano niya minadali ang paghahanap ng malilipatan. With his brother staying in Spain sa kaniya naka tuon ang lahat ng atensiyon ng ina. Lagi itong nangungulit at nag uuwi ng babae sa bahay nila para ipakilala sa kaniya. Kaya naman bumili na siya ng sariling bahay at lumipat kahit na ba sumama ang loob nito.
