Chapter inspired(?) by the song: This Side of Paradise by Coyote Theory

If you're lonely come be lonely with me.

I'll do the best I can with this.

Y/n's pov

*At the coffee shop with your friend*

"In the tower, I've always noticed that someone seemed a bit.. secluded." I said to my friend.

"But I'm afraid to talk to him, or even is that the right word?"

"I'm not... afraid.. I'm.. anxious, anxious to see what he'll do."

"Why don't you just talk to him?" They asked.

"I don't know, and if I wasn't having trouble, I wouldn't be here talking to you."

"Just talk to him."

"I can't, last time I tried, all that came out was literal gibberish."

I put my head in my hands and I groaned.

"Talk to him about something that he likes."

I scoffed "I already tried that."

"Why are you so worried about him anyway?" They asked, taking a sip of their coffee.

"I just hate seeing someone so.. lonely."

They smiled.

"So you care about him?"

"Yeah, I guess you could say that." I said, starting to fiddle with my fingers.

"Has he ever said anything mean to you?"

"N-no, he doesn't talk much."

"So when he is, what does he say?"

"He just calls Thor an oaf and he tells him to leave him alone."

They smile softly "That's probably because Thor can tell when someone is depressed, and he tries to help but Loki doesn't want help, but.. that doesn't mean that he doesn't need it."

I sighed softly "I want to help, but I don't even know what to say."

"You'll figure it out y/n, you always do."

I smile "Thanks"

*At the tower*

After taking an elevator I walked back onto my floor.

I walked through the.. somewhat empty floor.

And I say somewhat because it's not actually empty.

I share a floor with Loki.

He's always hiding.

It's very rare to see Loki out of his room.

I sat down at the table, and I pulled out my phone and I started playing a game.

Then I set my phone down at the table, getting up and going to Loki's door, I knocked.

"Hey Loki?"

No answer.

I sighed a bit, knowing he could be 'busy'.

I went back to the table, and I sat back down, continuing my game.

I sunk a bit into the chair and I heard a thud, followed by a groan of pain.

I looked away from my phone and I raised an eyebrow.

"Loki?"

I got up, putting my phone in my pocket, and I saw Loki on the floor.
