notes : okay so let me just um state that i read this book knowing nothing about it. like no clue what i'm about to read. my friend just said: read it. so i did.
there was too many wtf moments for me and not in a good way. it started off very promising, the whole revenge story but oh i was so wrong.
everyone in this book are so crazy.
now let's talk about the characters : •rika rich, stupid, bipolar, never attends college classes. •michael rich, stupid, pussy, no personality, he allowed his friend to sexually assault erika, watching and doing nothing, i hate him. •kai rich, mixed feelings about him, needed a threesome to heal. •damon rich, needs therapy, psycho, had sex with a minor, creepy and scary (not in a the way we like bad boys). •will rich, drunk, beat a cop up for a girl.
and trevor there is no way that jealousy can make someone that fucking insane.
pros of the book: -not bad writing -some smut was hot
i have no problem with reading smut but bro i have read better fanfics than this. michael likes grabbing the front of erika's neck as well as fisting her hair. some scenes are really intense and disturbing (not even talking about the dp).
would i read this book again? no. but a 2 star rating just doesn't sit right with me. it's a bit better than after but just as fucked up (if not, more). i almost dnf it but then i was no luca you gotta review it.
you will either love or hate this book.
