TW- mentions of death, suicidal thoughts,

The person shaking George soon went after realising that there was no point even trying.

He was sat in silence, tears rolling slowly down his face as he reflected on what had happened in his life. From the bullies on the roof to his father's death.

His whole life felt lost; shattered and damaged to the point he felt useless.

Weak,
Guilty,
Vulnerable.

Alone.

He jumped off of the tree, not giving a shit about the pain that he had afterwards and ran into the dark void of the forest.

George didnt know where he was going, he just ran, trying to escape the terrible life that he existed in.

Nobody will miss you if you go.

Nobody will care if you go.

Georges head was worse than before. All the events of the day seemed as though they'd been merged together and stretched so much that they'd been turned into negative, dark things.

From the passing out on the roof to his father's death. Everything was too much for him to handle.

He came to a stop at a small pond at an opening in the middle of the large forest, his vision unfocused and cheeks having red streaks stained down them. Arms wrapped in bandages and hair damp with sweat, he sat down on the old, wooden dock and dangled his feet over the murky, green water, the points of his shoes just below the surface of the water.

The sky was a darkish blue and clouds were scarce, with only a couple stars dotted about in the dark void above him.

George sat alone in silence, only the quiet whirr of the wind in the atmosphere making sounds around him. After a couple of minutes his head began to feel heavy so he leant back to a lying down position, slowly kicking his feet in tune with the dying sound of his murderous thoughts which spiralled through his head every second. The tips of his worn trainers dragged slowly across the cold pond near him, creating small ripples in the water.

His small world he called home felt like they had come crashing down on him. These allowed George to cry, endless streams of tears flooding down his face. He sensed as someone quietly lay next to him, however George just remained facing upwards ignoring the person.

The two lay in silence until George finally looked softly to the right of him to find a smiling Clay. The golden beams of moonlight illuminated and reflected onto Clays face as George got lost in his pale, yellow eyes. [He knows that they are actually green]

George never thought about how he felt, he usually just said he was "fine" or "good" without actually telling the truth or putting thought into it. But now his thoughts and feelings were the only things that occupied him.

He was thinking about how he actually was feeling, and he was sad, afraid, annoyed, and in love.

Sad that his father had just passed away before his eyes.
Afraid of what was going to happen to him.
Annoyed that he never actually got to say goodbye.
And in love with Clay.

Without warning, George felt a pair of arms wrap around him, which shocked him a bit but he soon melted into the hug and hugged back slightly. After about twenty seconds they both sat up, Clay's arm wrapped around Georges shoulder, rubbing circles into his back while George tried to stop crying.

Clay pulled George closer before hugging him again and letting the brunette cry onto his shoulder until all that was left was a few sniffles and sometimes small sobs. During this, Clay held George protectively and internally promised to love George forever.

Love.

Clay finally realised why he had felt different around George, and that was because he liked him, loved him.

[Took him long enough istg]

Seeing George in so much emotional pain saddened Clay, making him zone out and question what had happened. The boy's sobs and sniffs slowly turned into light snores as exhaustion from the day overtook him, and he fell asleep while leaning against his new friend. Clay carefully shuffled so they were both in a comfier position by laying down across the wooden dock and gently bringing George closer to him, laying his head on his chest.

He felt his phone buzz quietly before reading the message from wilbur, he'd messaged him explaining what had happened very briefly in a summary and asking if he'd seen George. He slowly typed out a reply and switched on his location so that Wil could track them both.

~

George's vision was empty, dark and obscured, lonely and silent, the world as he slumbered grew vastly creating an infinite void before him from every angle.

He looked to his side to see a faint image of his father slowly dissolving into the ever-growing darkness. It didn't matter how long he tried to reach his dad by running, the illusions of him never seemed to get any closer.

After what felt like ages later, the man was taking his last breath and the final piece of him crumbled to the ground. The pieces caught fire to the void and the darkness turned into a bright white.

~

His chestnut brown eyes flickered open to be met by a concerned Sapnap and Wilbur.
