8 Days Left Until The Ball

(This is part two of Chapter Twenty-Four, basically a continuation with Ruby and Prince Jimin's date. So it's still the same day!)

"My date with Prince Yoongi was spectacular, after our dinner date, we went on a walk at Rumba Beach," Ruby remembered how Prince Yoongi would hold her hand and the way his lips moved when he speaks softly to her. "He sounds romantic, but I'm far better than him," he scoffs.

"Really? Then quit being a jerk and stop flirting with that waitress," Ruby grunts. Prince Jimin is surprised to hear her complain with such anger. "Is my kitten angry?" He teases her jealousy. "Really? Me? Jealous? Says the one who was more jealous when Prince Seokjin said he wanted to meet with me later," Ruby smirks.

"That was because Prince Seokjin was interfering, I don't like it when guys like him interrupt my time with a lovely lady like you." He hums as he leaves a small kiss on her hand. "If you felt that way, you could've just told me, I do apologize," Prince Jimin sincerely says. Ruby felt relieved and had already forgiven the prince.

But she shouldn't have, because the waitress returns with their meals, Prince Jimin just tried not to say any commentary towards the waitress. "Please do enjoy," she giggles, her hand purposely brushes against his upper arm. Ruby doesn't notice as she started eating her soup. Prince Jimin couldn't hold back, he couldn't stand himself for focusing on one girl.

He's been stuck like this ever since his sister died, he would mostly flirt with other girls and compliment them about their beauty, he loved seeing every girl smile and feel happy.

"E-Excuse me," Prince Jimin says as he pushes his chair back and walked to the back. Ruby wondered what's wrong and thought he had left for the bathroom. She shrugs it off and continued eating, but Chip thought otherwise. About five minutes pass by and Chip began to worry, flying over to Ruby's side. "Uhh, your highness, it seems like Prince Jimin is taking a long time, even his food is getting cold," Chip whispers in her ear.

Ruby looked over where Prince Jimin's chair was still empty without his presence, his food had already been out cold. "Let me go find him," Ruby said as she frustratedly throws her napkin on the table. She pushes her chair back, aggressively, grabbing a few customers' attention, but she doesn't care.

As she gets close, she sees Prince Jimin and the same waitress constantly just flirting with each other. "Won't her highness be angry if you're here?" The waitress worriedly asked. "Yes, she is," Ruby interrupts. "Princess," Prince Jimin pushes the waitress away from him. Ruby turns around, heading towards the exit.

"Wait!" Prince Jimin grabs her wrist, stopping her from leaving the restaurant. "You're a jerk, I don't know why you were selected for the Six Elite Princes." Ruby grabs her champagne and throws it at his face, storming out of there. "Princess Ruby, I promise you, I didn't mean to. I promise you I'll be the prince you want me to be." Ruby looks at Prince Jimin, seeing whether he was serious or not.

"This is how I am. I've never dated anyone nor I've never gotten my first kiss. I'm only part of the Six Elite Princes because my mother wants me to grow up from my childish behavior and find a princess to marry. She's right." Prince Jimin was sincere with every word he spoke.

"Let's finish that date then, I will make sure you won't be the prince you used to be," Ruby promises him and takes him back inside. "I'm sorry I threw champagne at you," she says as he gives him a fresh napkin to clean his face. "No worries, I deserved it," he chuckles. "Can we get a different waiter," she requested.

"Why don't we finish this dinner date then walk to Tango Garden?" "Sounds like a good idea," he says. A male waiter, this time, bought Prince Jimin a new warm plate of food and the two got along very easily. They both got to know each other well, Ruby not knowing how Prince Jimin can be clumsy sometimes.
