5 Days Left Until The Ball

Last night, the dinner party had ended around two in the morning and Ruby had gone to bed afterward, not realizing she had slept next to Princess Ruby. It was already noon, Chip flees to the princess' bedroom, to wake Ruby up. "Your highness, it's time to wake up," she gently shakes Ruby's body.

Ruby is woken up by Chip, her eyes blinded by the bright sunshine rays entering through the window. "Oh my goodness, your highness," Chip flees over to Princess Ruby who was also asleep. "Your highness, please wake up," Chip also does the same, lightly shaking the princess' body.

"Mmm, I'm too tired," the princess groans. Ruby stretches her arms and legs out, letting out a loud yawn. "Morning, Chip," Ruby greets the creature. "Good morning, your highness," Chip bows to Ruby. "Good morning, Chippy," Princess Ruby yawns, also greeting the creature. "Good morning, your highness," Chip bows to the princess. "Princess Ruby? You're still here?" Ruby asked, still surprised that Princess Ruby was right here with them.

"I know, I know, I will return back to your world tomorrow. I just feel... homesick," Princess Ruby hugs her pillow. "Don't you think I miss my home?" Ruby annoyingly tells the princess. "There are only five days left till the ball, you'll be back home by then," Princess Ruby tells Ruby. "Then what's the point in you coming back?" Now Ruby was beginning to feel angry.

"Please don't fight, you're here because you accepted Princess Ruby's request and her highness is only here to check up on you. No one in this world knows about your world, this spell is considered illegal. Only one sorcerer in this world knows about our worlds." Chip fully explains in detail. "Exactly, which that's where I'm going, she knows about our secret. Besides, I don't wanna stay here in this bedroom," Princess Ruby replied as she fully gets up from the bed and opens the closet doors to find a gown.

"Ruby, if you don't mind, I need you to go to Samba Square and take this necklace to the jewelry shop, I need this to be repaired." Princess Ruby hands her a bracelet that was broken in two. "Do I look like-" "Yes, your highness, we will make sure to get this fixed." Chip urges Ruby to get changed and eat breakfast before they go out.

After washing her face and brushing her teeth, she changes into a light causal gown and walks to the dining hall, to eat breakfast. "His Majesty had left to meet with some important people," Chip tells Ruby. "Let's go to Samba Square first and then we'll go to Practice Hall afterward. Tomorrow is the dance contest and Prince Taehyung might want to practice."

"Dance contest? Already?" Ruby asked. "Why yes, I have already set your schedule for the next few last days before you leave." Chip had prepared plans for Ruby to enjoy the kingdom and spend more time with the princes before she leaves for her world.

"Thank you, Chip. You've been by my side since I first came here," she tells Chip which makes her tear up a bit. "I am going to miss you, but for now, it's too early to say goodbye just yet. We still have plenty of time to create memories," Chip said. Ruby quickly finishes her breakfast and left the castle for Samba Square.

Ruby and Chip decided to take the carriage to Samba Square. It seems so gloomy outside, grey clouds covered the sky, blocking the sun's rays. When they arrived, the coachman tells Ruby he'll wait out here for them.

On her way to the jewelry shop, Ruby spots Jare, as always, buying groceries. "Jare!" Ruby calls out to him. "Your highness," he says as he gently bows to her. "I sent an invitation for you to the dinner party yesterday, but you didn't come, how come?" Ruby asked the rabbit-man. "I must apologize for not attending last night, I couldn't attend because my grandmother was terribly ill and I must take care of her. I came here to buy more vegetables to make some hot vegetable stew to make her feel better."
