One might say a picture's worth a thousand words...
But, I'd have to say that I disagree
For my heart has been touched by an angel
Leaving me speechless forever and all eternity
My mortal words could hardly describe you
However, I could surely give it a try
For you have ignited my scorching flame of inspiration
And I will certainly not let it die
I could say so many romantic things to portray your beauty
A portrayal of a girl so majestic and divine
The most luscious piece of passionate fruit
That just sits dangling from its vine
Or I could say that you are the most rare of all fragrant flowers
Who gives off a fragrance that's breath-taking and oh so very sweet
A fragrance that is so intoxicating
My heart just simply skips a beat
But you know what? Now, that I think about it
I am sitting here writting a poem to a girl that I barely know
So, I guess I should put this song bird of mine back in its cage
Until its time to let it go....

Because I love you I could write a thousand words about my everyday thoughts of you, but I won’t
Because I love you I could write a thousand words about my confession of true love for you, but I don’t
Because I love you I could write a thousand words of how much I cherish our little bits of time together, but I groan
Those nights you hold me tight and set my body ablaze, I moan
Not out of pleasure or delight, but simply because you were my knight
The missing puzzle to my world of unknown, you get me like a dog needs a bone
Bone, backbone is what you are, every living second you strive me to go far
Farther and higher than I ever dreamed, you honestly bring a rush to me
Remember the day we shared our first kiss, yeah it was awkward but truly a bliss
You left me star stuck in that movie theater scene, you made me feel like I was living a dream
The way your hands grasped my face and your soft lips gave me a suttle taste.
I couldn’t even think straight.
Do you remember when we stayed up all night, speaking on dreams and passions and future sights
The conversation would never end, with you and me I never felt the need to pretend
Remember when we had our first fight, we tried to stay mad at each other with all our might
Holding a grudge that just couldn’t stay we made up the very next day
Remember how you never wanted to go to sleep angry with me, no matter what I did you never gave up on we
And that’s what I love about you most, you could make me smile coast to coast
Never in a doubt have I ever played you out
Because your soul is something new every day, I couldn’t bear with myself if I left you stray
Because I love you I could write a thousand words about us but I’ll just let time continue to play with our trust.

A lifetime of promises and a world full of dreams
For only my heart knows what it means
And I promise you it won't be wrong
One love, two hearts we will make it strong,
But now my love is lost in your sweet kiss
Honey when I'm alone you're the one I miss
And your sweet, tender love is hard to resist
Darling it's true my heart has fallen in love with you
Looking upon the stars tonight wishing with all my might
Hoping someday you will realize this passion I hold inside
Honey it doesn't cost a dime.

I feel truly blessed for this feeling the Lord has given me
