A/N! __
I'm beyond excited to be able to share this with you all !! I've been working on this for about three years with various revised and re-edited versions, but none has ever felt as true to me or personal as this version. Selena came about in early 2019, and I've been writing since. She's primarily based on strong-willed, wise women such as young Mariah Carey and Julia Roberts and, of course, the late Selena Quintanilla. The name Selena itself derives from Selene, who is the goddess of the moon in Greek mythology. I enjoy putting symbolism into all my work, so some of the character traits or storylines may resonate with with certain songs/movies, etc. Writing is something I enjoy, yet this has been a tumultuous project. For your sake, ill wrap it up here but thank you so much to all of my friends who I've made reread this a million times. This one is for you all! I hope you enjoy and fall in love with these characters as much as I have. Thank you for supporting me!
