With a little bit of apprehension and a little bit of curiosity, Gu Wei cautiously clicked into that supertopic titled #FoodForXunWei.

Gu Wei stared at the contents.

The main subjects of this supertopic group were him and the reaction meme.

So, that was what it meant.

The phrase 'Food for Xun Wei' was indeed very thought-provoking, taking the final character in the phrase 'nai ren xun wei', meaning 'food for thought', and replacing it with the character for 'wei' from Gu Wei's name.

He and Jiang Xun had only appeared together in public a few times, and they already had shippers? That just went to show that these shippers really had a knack for making a big deal out of nothing.

In the eyes of their shippers, his random encounter with Jiang Xun in northern Europe was a twist of fate. His blunder while trying to fold his umbrella had practically been a declaration of love.

His late-night like on Jiang Xun's old post? That was because he missed Jiang Xun and couldn't get him out of his mind.

And when he and Jiang Xun had emerged from the airport, together? They had been casting longing glances at each other.

All this according to their shippers.

Everyone in the supertopic agreed there was already an unbreakable bond between Gu Wei and Jiang Xun. In short, they already saw Gu Wei and Jiang Xun as a happy family.

The group hadn't been formed all that long ago, but it had amassed a fairly large number of members already. Sunny Doll, that little hedgehog from earlier, was even one of the group's moderators.

Gu Wei hit play on one of the video compilations, and after watching for a while, he almost found himself buying into the ship.

He felt like he had just witnessed the entire history of the birth of a fandom. The artists and writers were already present in full force, and there were even fans already hollering about wanting to see a baby.

Gu Wei thought about it for a moment and resisted the temptation to snoop further through the group. His mind was filled with one thought and one thought only: that his top priority was hiding the group and making sure some reaction meme whose last name happened to be Jiang never caught sight of it.

One of the moderators of the group had recently made a post cautioning their members to keep a low profile and not boil over or disturb any other circles. When Gu Wei clicked on the comments of that post, he already saw a bunch of unkind comments from random passersby.

Passerby 1: Low-profile? You should have no profile! There's no way these two people have anything to do with each other. Just break up this group already.

Passerby 2: You guys are trying to build a ship with basically no material. There's no way this ship will ever sail.

Passerby 3: Can you people leave Jiang Xun out of this? Our gaming god doesn't want to have anything to do with your entertainment industry. You've been badgering him nonstop lately.

Passerby 4: Are you shippers even capable of growing a brain? It's impossible for Gu Wei or Jiang Xun to be together like that, and even if there's anything that seems ambiguous about them in the future, that's just the reality show editing it to look that way to bait you. Have you guys forgotten? Jiang Xun's little brother is Jiang Ying, and Jiang Ying and Gu Wei are enemies. They're like fire and ice, cats and dogs. Just not compatible.

It seemed the superchat group had just started to gain a little bit of traction, but was already experiencing some turmoil. At this rate, the group most likely wouldn't grow out of control and become a huge force to be reckoned with.

That was what Gu Wei thought. So, for the time being, he pushed the matter of the superchat group to the back of his mind.

He went back to his own Weibo page and started to pen a post with the official Like the Moon account tagged—

@T.ATW-GuWei: Thank you for the introduction, I'm Miao Zihan. @LikeTheMoonTV

After finishing his work for the day, Gu Wei climbed into a company car and prepared to head back to his dormitory. In the back seat, he opened up WeChat.

The pikachu avatar was at the top of his chat list, and the most recent message had a time stamp of just half an hour ago.

[100K Volts]: Does it still hurt?

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: Does what still hurt?

It was only after Gu Wei had hit send that he realized what Jiang Xun was asking about.

All of a sudden, the memory of being held down in Jiang Xun's lap and… 'taught a lesson' flashed through his mind.

Gu Wei blanched.

Jiang Xun hadn't used all that much force, so it had never hurt in the first place. But now, Gu Wei got the inexplicable feeling of some tingling sensation in the place where he had been 'taught a lesson' earlier that day.

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: It doesn't hurt anymore…

And, in a flash, Jiang Xun had answered—

[100K Volts]: Really?

[100K Volts]: That's too bad.

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: Why is it too bad?

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: terrified.jpg

[100K Volts]: Originally, if you said it still hurt, I planned on massaging it for you.

Gu Wei's hand trembled so violently that he dropped his cell phone.

"Are you still looking at the superchat?" asked Mu Yue from the front seat. "It's that interesting?"

"No," Gu Wei said, hastily shaking his head as he picked up his phone.

The meme had decided to get pervy in just three sentences. Gu Wei was determined to do everything in his power to swiftly change the subject.

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: Ge.

[100K Volts]: I can't hear you.

Gu Wei stared at the screen.

He understood. His finger traveled to the Hold to Talk button and pressed down. Lowering his voice, he whispered, "Ge."

And sent the audio message to Jiang Xun.

[100K Volts]: Now I can hear you. Go ahead. What are you plotting now?

[100K Volts]: headpat.jpg

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: What do you need?

Jiang Xun's birthday was just next week. Since Gu Wei had decided to get him a birthday present, he figured he could choose something Jiang Xun liked, or something Jiang Xun was missing from his life. Whatever he needed, Gu Wei would buy for him.

But taking into consideration Jiang Xun's family background and his own recent fame as an esports player, he probably wasn't lacking anything. At least, nothing that Gu Wei could think of.

[100K Volts]: What do I need?

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: Yeah, like, what are you lacking? Ge, take a look around yourself and see if there's anything you want but don't already have.

[100K Volts]: There is something.

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: CuteBlush.jpg

[If You Love Me Please Send Me Money]: What is it?

[100K Volts]: A fiancé.

Gu Wei stared.
