Differences

Chapter 5•

"Papa" sohails daughter runs to Nandini, she looks up at Nandini with hopeful eyes which breaks her down even more.

"Dr Nandini how is my brother sohail" his sister asks Nandini, she looks down "a-aur yeh.. yeh yaha Kya kar raha hai" she cries

Nandini walks over to her and tries to calm her down "dr Nandini please mujhe bataiye how is my brother" she repeats

Nandini didn't know how to tell her, she has had to tell patients families before if their loved one passed away but this time it was different, she was unable to open her mouth to say anything she was scared of how sohails sister would feel and even her daughter.

"Aap chup kyu hai" she holds Nandini's hand, karan looks at her with no expressions on his face, he takes a deep breath and rolls his eyes.

"Woh mar gaya" karan says insensitively, Nandini glares at him angrily she looked at him pissed off as the way he said it. Manik looks down

"Shut up! Tum hote Kon ho yeh bolne wale" sohails sister gets angry

"D-Dekhiye... hum Mr Sohail ko bacha nahi paaye, he had excessive blood loss" Nandini lies

"WHAT?! NO ESA NAHI HO SAKTA" sohails sister cries uncontrollably "mera bhai nahi mar sakta"

"Zaroor koi galat fehmi hui hai aapko please check him again.. woh zaroor uthenga usko toh aadat hai aise pareshaan karne ki mujhe" she cries losing control

Nandini looks at her as tears also rolls down her cheeks, Nandini's heart broke seeing her like this and the fact that he died in front of her and she could not do anything about it.

"You said ki Woh thik ho gaya tha phir achanak kaise, dr aap hi ne mujhe bola tha he was perfectly fine"

"I'm sorry" is all Nandini says, she looks down. Sohails sister looks at her numb.

She covers her mouth with her hands and cries uncontrollably, manik looks away putting his hands in his pocket.

Sohails sister stops crying as something hits her, she wipes her tears and looks up at manik and karan standing there emotionless.

"Inn dono ne mere bhai ko maara hai!" Sohails sister  shouts, Nandini turns around.

"Haan! These two killed him... kabse sohail ke peeche pade the, yeh dono pehle bhi aaye the yaha pe, Dr Nandini aap police ko phone kijiye" sohails sister turns around and walks over to Nandini.

Nandini looks at manik, he pulls out the phone once again indicating about Naina. Nandini knew manik would do anything and she has seen it.

"No! Nahi hum police ko nahi bula sakte.. in this case there was no foul play, Mr sohail died because of excessive blood loss aur yahi Sach hai" Nandini stops her, she was also scared about her and sohails little daughter

"Aap samajh nahi rahi hai, you don't know these people yeh log janwar hai kissi ko bhi mar sakte hai" sohails sister says to Nandini

"I-I'm sorry... mein aapka dard samajh sakti hu" Nandini holds her hand

"Nahi samajh sakti aap" she jerks Nandini's hand away almost pushing her, manik looks at her trying to control his anger. Nandini was not at all angry on her, she knew she was in pain losing her brother.

"Mein Toh phir bhi sambhal lungi Lekin yeh bacchi.. yeh chotti bacchi Woh uske papa ke bina kaise" she points at the little girl.

"didi... papa kaha gaye mujhe Milna hai" sohails daughter interrupts, Nandini looks at her every time she looks at her she remembers how she lost her parents too at her young age.
