Differences

Chapter 17•

Nandini and manik reach the spot where all the street food vendors where. Nandini rushed out of the car and went to the Pani puri stall. Manik locks his car and follows her standing next to her.

"Bhaiya extra theeka banana please" Nandini says excitedly

"Extra spicy? Are you crazy Nandini bimaar jo jaongi" manik shows concerns

"Pani puri toh theeki hi khaate hai" Nandini shakes her head at him

"Have you never tried it? Tumne bachpan mein kabhi nahi khaayi?" Nandini asks him, manik looks away

"I have but when I was little after that no" manik replies, Nandini looks at him.

"Well you are having the first one"

"No—" as manik opens his mouth Nandini shoves the pani puri on his mouth, which reminds him of how he did the same to her. Manik puts his hand over his mouth gulping it down

"So good na?" Nandini asks, he gives a slight nod. Nandini starts eating pani puri, manik watches her eat and he was in awe she was eating like a little child, the excitement on her face and the way she just started digging in to the food and the slight tears coming out of her eyes because it was spicy but she didn't care she was loving it. A small smile appears on Manik's face seeing her.

Manik puts his hand in his pocket "fuck" manik mumbles under his breath "my wallet is in my car I will get it"

"You wait here" Manik tells her, Nandini nods and continues to eat. Manik walks to his car, as he was walking back he sees two guys staring in Nandini's direction behind his car, manik turns around and looks at Nandini it was obvious they were looking at her.

They don't notice manik who was standing near his car "kitni hot hai, she looks even hotter eating" they says looking at Nandini who was eating, manik clenches his fist in anger

"Haan yaar sach mein maal hai" the other guy says, manik closes the door aggressively in anger making a loud noise, he quickly walks over to Nandini.

He pays the guy "sir I don't have change" he says looking at the money

"Keep the change"  manik says without looking, he grabs Nandini's hand and takes her to the car

"Kya hua" Nandini asks him

"Sit in the car and don't get out or open this door I'll be back" manik opens the door for her, Nandini sits.

"Where are you going?" Nandini asks him

Manik looks the guys standing and takes a deep breath "to meet my friends" he replies and walks off

"You have friends?!" Nandini shouts but he doesn't reply, he walks to the guys and stands in front of them.

Manik looks up at them both "go and call the ambulance"

"What?" The guy looks at manik with a confused face

"I said go and call an ambulance Tum logon ko zaroorat padegi" manik grits his teeth

"What are you talking ab—" before the guy could finish his sentence manik punches him in the face hard causing him to fall down in the pain, the other guy comes forward to fight manik but manik also punches him down.

Manik keeps hitting them black and blue "how fucking dare you guys speak about my wife like that!"

"W-we d-dint know she is your wife" one of the guys says groaning in pain

"It doesnt matter, you guys shouldn't be saying that about any women! Do you guys fucking understand" manik punches him

"Do not ever look at my wife again!"
