EMMA’S POV

I rolled over stretching with a huge smile on my face when I saw sissy. I jumped up and quickly covered myself and my face.

 “Oh my god Sissy!”

“Have fun last night?”

I laughed, lying back down.

“I think that is a yes.”

 “SISSY!”

“Oh come on, we’re adults here! So how was he?”

I slowly pulled my sheet away from my face and looked at her.

“Amazing.”

I couldn’t stop smiling, that is until mom came in.

“Young lady, get up!”

“Yes mama.”

I grabbed the sheet and wrapped it around me when they both gasped.

“Emma Rose, HE marked you!”

Sissy squeaked and ran out, knowing exactly where she was going.

“SISSY NO!”

I ran after her.

 “SISSY!”

Just then daddy came out of his office with Xavier and his father.

“Hey baby girl!”

Xavier ran up to me and kissed me right on the lips in front of everyone, but that was the least of my concerns especially with a man who can take my breath away. When he pulled away I whimpered, making him chuckle.

“What are you doing running around with just a sheet on baby girl?”

“She was chasing me before I went and told Daddy about you and her and the fact that you MARKED her!”

“CECILIA!”

I smiled and stuck my tongue out at her.

“EMMA!”

 “Sorry Daddy.”

“Oh stop George you know how they are.”

I looked back at mom and smiled as she came down the stairs.

“Mrs. Mendoza, I’m sorry for not…”

“Oh hush, I know you love her, it’s clear as day that you two were meant for each other.”

“Now sugar…”

“George don’t you sugar me now. Can’t you see that she is finally happy? Isn’t this what you wanted? Mated and happy?”

“Yes, but she knew better than to do it before marriage.”

I looked down then because he was right. When I was a little girl I promised him I would wait. It was the only thing he’d ask of me and I promised.

“Hey…”

Xavier lifted my chin and smiled down at me.

“Do you regret it?”

“No, but Daddy’s right, I promised and now I’ve broken that promise…”

I looked down at daddy and down at my feet.

“I’m sorry daddy, but I couldn’t help it, my wolf and I just wanted to be happy without even thinking of our promise to you.”

Xavier took me in his arms and hugged me.

“It doesn’t matter baby girl, if we did right or wrong. What matters is that we love each other.”

“It doesn’t matter, baby girl promised and she knows how I felt about that promise.”
