Dream is good at locking away his feelings. After all, it's work first, everything else later. It has to be that way.
But he still misses DreamTale and Nightmare. He wants to go home so badly, but he doesn't have one... not anymore. Though Dream doesn't show it much, Blue knows about his distress.
One day, Blue notices that his friend is more closed-off and distant than normal, and he sees right through the shaky front of positivity he tries to put up.
Dream will not be letting this tear him apart. Not on Blue's watch.
