Horror is essentially the "mom" of the outcodes. He's the reason they all eat, the reason they all sleep (sometimes), the reason most of them stay healthy.
One day, one of the Stars isn't looking well (again—do they ever know how to look after themselves?), so he scoops them up and settles on the couch.
Optionals:
I-The Star is sicker than Horror originally thought
II-The Star eventually falls asleep, and Horror follows suit. When he wakes up, it's several hours later and the Star in his arms is unresponsive.
III-By morning, there's a huge cuddle pile on the couch/floor. Nightmare's even there.
