Ink accidentally loses his vials in his container of normal paints. It should have been easy to find them based on the little heart-shaped caps, but he was in a hurry. He'd forgotten to take them earlier and he does not want to go blank.
He manages to find some, which is great! He takes a swig of each one he can find, but in his frantic search, he mistakes a color or two for his acrylic and/or oil paint (his organization skills don't exist). The issue is, magic paint doesn't quite mix with normal paint.
(This could screw up his emotions pretty badly, for example...)
