I woke up at 6am like always and made my way to washroom. After I cleaned up I went to my gym room in my penthouse.

"Yes sir everything is arranged" jai said and left my cabin.

Vani's POV
I am right now sitting in my bedroom lost in thoughts of my future. It's been a week since Rathore's came for my alliance and after three days it's my engagement with viren.

I was about to grab a book for reading when someone knocked on my door. "Yes" I said and maa entered my room.
She came and sat beside me on the bed. I immediately leaned my head on her shoulder and my eyes again filled with tears.
"Maa I don't want to marry, please convince bhai to stop this marriage" I said while sobbing.
"Vani you know when you're papa died in car accident, it felt like I lost everything. You used to cry for your papa, even Rakshit was upset but he never showed it on his face. He started taking care of us and the business just like your papa. Our company started losing shares, your bhai used to work day and night. We both know he always took care of you just like his daughter. He always kept you away from every danger" maa said while caressing my hair.
"Vani you're a fragile girl since childhood. You're really innocent for the cruel world. That's why Rakshit always protected you like a princess and now he found someone who will do the same for you. If you're bhai is considering your safety more than your career then I don't think he is doing something wrong" maa said calmly.
"I know bhai had done many sacrifices for me, but it's difficult for me to give up my career so easily"I said.
" But if bhai is happy with my marriage then I'm ready to get married"I said after a minute of silence.
Maa just smiled at me and left my room.
I know it will be difficult for me but I will try to give this marriage a chance, just for bhai's happiness.
