I felt like appreciating Natashas's role in the MCU so I wrote this and included a love interest to add some happiness, but we all know how it ends for the Black Widow.
I don't really know how to categorize this but it is both heartwarming and heartbreaking.

Warning: There is a slightly heated, sexual part in this.

Aren't soulmates a lovely concept? The idea is that there is one true match out there for everyone. A simplification of love that would allow anyone to discover the one, ideal person for them. No doubts and no hesitation. However, love is a difficult thing. It's never perfect and it's never what you expect it to be – yet, it is worth every moment of it. Love consumes you whole and sometimes leaves you heartbroken. When love has truly embraced your heart, it will make you feel warm but when it ends it will squeeze your heart until it breaks and leaves you with the pieces. The point is that love does not come easy but it will find you eventually.

I never believed in soulmates, for it was always the purest form of fairytales in my mind. Of course, the idea of it is alluring but it was too good to be true and I had learned that the hard way. Although, when I met her, when I met Natasha Romanoff, she transformed my perspective. I thought that nothing could amaze me anymore seeing as we live in a world with wizards and gods walking among us, yet she was the one to flip my world upside down. The attraction was there from the first entwinement of our gaze and from there she made love feel easy. Because of her, my life was a never-ending sunset filled with beautiful colors and warm feelings. Not to say that there weren't exterior aspects that acted as obstacles, but our affection never faltered. It didn't matter what came in the way, we figured it out. There wasn't anything that she would allow to break us apart considering that she never gave up on people.

To me, other relationships had never been like this one. I have always found people to be difficult or at least that they make things feel difficult. No one had truly understood me and amused me in a way that could keep my attention. I was constantly looking for someone interesting, someone who collected stories and had seen enough for ten lifetimes. I sometimes wondered if that was too much to ask for but then again, anything less would never suffice. So, when Natasha entered my life, I thought it to be a dream or a fantasy way too real for my world. She left me compelled.

Natasha was positively refreshing both in regards to her outlook on life and her way of treating others. She was never overbearing, yet, she was always there in a way that mattered. She spoke and moved with elegance, yet, she always welcomed silly affection. She had never greeted love before, yet, she loved me above all else.

She loved fiercely and that love did extend to the avengers who had become her family admits her solitude. Even when they were separated by values, she sympathized with both parties. Mostly because she trusted the captain. The political involvement in the avengers turned into something it wasn't supposed to be. The intention was regarding the safety of civilians, however, it became a question of authority and the freedom of the avenger's course of action in defense. Natasha did support The Sokovia Accords that would turn the avengers from a private initiative to a resource to United Nations worldwide along with the local governments they serve in. She was, like Tony Stark, aware of the damage they had caused. Even when trying to protect people, and she recognized it as a problem that needed to be controlled. Inevitably, her relationship with the members tied her to the defiance of Steve Rogers. Her loyalty forced her to run, to live as an international fugitive.
