"So what grade did you two get in your English project." Derrick asked as I ate one of my cupcakes.
We were all at the cafeteria, except Maxwell, for lunch.
Gosh these last two weeks have been hectic. Working with Finlay is annoying as hell.
But we got an A in our project and we got closer too.

"An A." Finlay replied with a shrug.

"Awesome." Derrick said making me smirk.

"Guyssss." We heard a manly voice say before we saw Maxwell approaching us.

"Hey Maxwell? Did you take sugar today?" Alexander asked with a raised brow because Maxwell's expression was too cherry.

"No Alexander." Max said rolling his eyes. "I passed my English project."
The boys looked at each other then nodded.

"He definitely took sugar." They said in unison.

"What do you mean? That I can't be happy because I passed?" Maxwell asked folding his hands.
Finlay was about to talk but Maxwell waved him off.

"You know what? Don't answer that." Maxwell said glaring at all of us.

"Just tell us why you're happy Maxwell." Zaid said impatiently.

"Okay okay. I'm gonna ask Geminis out today and a little birdie told me she likes me." Maxwell said gleefully making me furrow my brows in confusion.

"Who's Geminis?" I asked making Maxwell glare at me. "Hey don't glare at me. It's not my fault I don't know some random person who I've never talked to."

"Good point." Maxwell said. "Well Geminis is the girl who I was assigned to do the project with."

"The nerd?" Derrick asked making Maxwell roll his eyes.

"Yes the nerd. Gosh you and your cousin are stressful." Maxwell said, mumbling the last part.

"Oh so you're going to ask her out?" Alexander said, an unknown emotion hidden behind his words.

"Yes Alex." Maxwell replied then his phone beeped. "Gotta go. She's waiting for me at the garden. Wish me luck." He added.

"Good luck." We all muttered then he ran off in happiness.

Alexander sighed in sadness making Derrick sad too.
This is bullshit. Alexander has a crush on Maxwell, Derrick loves Alexander.

"Don't be sad Alex, you'll see someone better." Mikayla finally talked, putting an arm on Alex's shoulder.
Alex sighed then pushed his plate away.

"I don't want someone better. I just want Maxie." He said then stood up and walked away.

"I'll.. I'll go try talking to him." Derrick said then stood up and chased after him.

"Free food." Finlay said like a child on Christmas morning making me slap his head.

"Be serious for once Finlay." I scolded.

"I'm sad." Mikayla said with a sigh.

"Yeah. Why can't Alex just notice Derrick's love for him?" Zaid asked sadly.

"Alexander just left you can go ask him." I said coldly making Finlay knock my head lightly.

"Be nice for once princess." He mocked me.

"Look guys it'll get better okay. Very soon we'll see them kissing hopefully." I said with a smile then the bell rang.

"Time for gymnastics." Mikayla and I said in unison before carrying our bags.
