I'd asked Willow if she could give me some lessons in self defense, which she happily agreed. I didn't know her dad owned a fighting gym, and that she could take down a grown man in 12 seconds. It made me wish I was more brave like that.
She promised that by the time we were finished with training I'd be more confident, and that's all I wanted.
This morning in the palace was exciting because Spanish royalty were visiting. All the selected girls were rushing about trying to be dressed perfectly, which amused me since we were in the presence of royals every day here.
I was dressed in a sparkly orange dress, since my maid suggested it suited my skin tone. She said I was lucky that I could easily wear it, because most girls couldn't pull off orange.

I liked the dress and felt I looked pretty, so that was all that mattered.
All us girls were told to gather in the greeting lounge by the main palace entrance to wait for the royals.

Finally Kaya showed up, clearly having spent time on her outfit. She looked beautiful as always, in a soft peach colour today.
