Part 72 - Human SCP-682 x Reader

Your POV:
Biology department. That is a position in the Foundation which exists only in few facilities without any SCPs. Many people think that Foundation is made only from scientists, guards, MTFs, class D personel and O5 council. This is wrong, because we also have IT department, field agents, Ethics Committee, medical personel, psychologists and as I said earlier, biology department.

Our tasks are more complicated that what scientists are doing. While they have to interview anomalies and learn about their spirits, we are responsible for analysing how they are built, researching their anatomy and finding physical differences in their bodies.

Oh, we are also responsible for proving, that 049's mask is not a part of his body. It turned out that our first claim was false because the x-ray machine was malfunctioning and it gave us false results. Thankfully it didn't kill him by accident, because if it did, we would have been dead long time ago. After checking him the second time we found out, that this is his regular clothing, which for some reason, he doesn't take off or wash.

However this wasn't our greatest success. Few days ago we were performing an experiment with 682's skin and we managed to turn it into a human skin. Its DNA was slightly different though, but I made a thesis that we could turn 682 into a human, which would allow us to contain him more easily and possibly delete part of his mass.

At the beginning a class D personel was supposed to inject him with a special liquid, which would possibly turn him into a human, but it turned out that the entire facility was out of class D personel. Don't ask me how it is possible, but every single D-class in the facility died from MTF's bullets. They tried to make a rebellion and kill everyone on their way to the surface, but because they had only knives, MTFs didn't have any problems with executing order 66.

Because of that, we could either wait for another set of D-class to arrive, which would take few days, or one of us could try to do that. It was extremely risky, so we flipped a coin few times in order to find a person to perform this task, and of course it landed on me. Director approached me and said:

Director: Since you are going to perform this experiment, I am going to send one hundred thousand dollars to your account for that.

You: And what if I die?

Director: Then I will send an extra million to your family.

You: So my family will get a million dollars if I die?

Director: ... You are not allowed to kill yourself to give them money.

You: I won't do that, don't worry! I was just curious.

Having said that I approached the door leading to 682's containment chamber and stepped inside, where I found him contained by enormous handcuffs.

You: Why aren't you containing him like this every day?

Scientist: Because it takes him approximately 5 minutes every time to break them, which makes it pointless to use them daily.

You: How much time do I have before he breaks these?

Scientist: Approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

After he said that I took a deep breath, approached the reptile and injected him with the serum. He groaned in pain and began shaking, while I quickly ran to the door and tried to open it, but my keycard wasn't enough.

You: Hey, open the door manually, my keycard is not strong enough!

They pushed few buttons which were supposed to open the cell, but instead of opening, the door got blocked.

Scientist: System is not working, we cannot do anything!

You: What do you mean system is not working?!
