Your POV:
One hundred and twenty-four years. That's how long I have been living. When I was eighteen years old, I got drafted for World War I. This draft was... something I will never forget. What's more, we have lost it. I was one of soldiers that returned healthy back to my family, but these four years have changed my life. I have seen so much blood and so many deaths, that seeing my family die sooner or later wasn't anything new. I was used to that. After World War II started, I had to escape. I knew, that fighting for this maniac is pointless and I didn't want to fight for somebody, who is filled with hate and racism. I have escaped to USA with my wife and children, and lived there peacefully. I never forgot about my country, and I wanted to return there after this war ends, but I had an accident and I wasn't able to come back.
But there was one person, I couldn't forget. Lawrence. This soldier has killed so many of our soldiers, that I wasn't surprised, that he became crazy and dissapeared. I always wanted to meet him after the war, but I couldn't find any information about him.
I went for a walk. Despite the fact, that I had problems with moving, I wanted to stay healthy. The night was beautiful. There were no clouds and I could see the stars very well. I went to a park and sat on a bench. Something was telling me, that there is a danger nearby, so I put my hand on a Beholla pistol. I kept is as a memory from World War I. I didn't have a lot of ammunition for this weapon, but I always had it prepared. I looked around, but didn't see anyone. However, I saw a strange, black substance on a tree. I came closer to check it, and then I felt something pulling me down. Before I could react, I have lost consciousness.
SCP-106's POV:
That was easy. This guy wouldn't even have a chance to escape. I will use my special trap on him. We have used it in World War I againts German soldiers, and it was very effective. I will gladly see him strugle with this one.Your POV:
I woke up in a trench. I stood up and walked straight. I looked around to check the pattern, when I suddenly realised, that this is a scenery from World War I. What's more, it was a trench leading to a trap created by British and French soldiers. I didn't have any other choice, so I went straight, but looked around to check for strings. I knew that if I touch one of them, everything will explode. Carefully I went through the entire trap and found myself in a throne room. Somebody was looking at me from his throne.SCP-106's POV:
He went through this trap perfectly. Did he know how to do that? And second of all, how did he know, that this trap exists? This man is special, I will ask him myself.Your POV:
I looked at this thing and heard a loud "kneel". My legs were weak and I had rheumatism, so I hoped, that this person will understand. You: I can't do that, rheumatism doesn't allow me to do anything.
106: Well then... Tell me, how did you know, that there is a trap?
You: I have seen something similiar during World War I.
SCP-106's POV:
He fought in World War I? Maybe he was even in my squad.106: Are you from Britain or from France?
You: None of these, I am from Germany.
I was stunned. One of enemy soldiers I wanted to kill so badly in this war, stood in my pocket dimension. This day couldn't get any better.
106: Well then, I see that you have your own weapon. *Picks up FN Browning M1900* I have waited for this moment for so long. This gun hasn't been used for too long.
I have jumped down and aimed at him.
106: I, corporal Lawrence have been waiting for this moment for too long! Prepare yourself and fight!
You: ... You are corporal Lawrence?
106: I am. And now pull out your weapon and fight like a man!
You: ... No, I am too old for that. *Drops the weapon*
Your POV:
I have dropped my weapon. I am too old for fighting anyway.SCP-106's POV:
He doesn't want to fight? I am surprised.106: You do realise, that if you won't fight back, I will kill you?
You: I know. But I am too old for this. I have one hundred and twenty-four years, I would die soon anyway.
106: ... Interesting. You fought in two World Wars, but now you say, that you are too old?
You: I fought only in the first one. I escaped to USA during the second one, because I didn't want to help this maniac.
So he has chosen the right side during the second war.
106: ... Do you have family?
You: I do, why do you ask?
106: ... War takes away lifes of innocent people and soldiers, who cannot come back to their families. *Points at the exit* This is the exit. Go through it, and don't tell anyone about what you saw. They are coming for me anyway.
You: Who is coming?
106: The Foundation. They are a secret organisation protected by all governments. If you tell anyone about that, you will have problems with them. Keep it as a secret. Can you promise that?
You: I promise.
106: Excellent. Now go back to your family.
Your POV:
I went through the exit and found myself in park again. I went to my house and lied on the bed. Lawrence is still alive, and he is doing way better than me. I wish him the best of luck.SCP-106's POV:
This soldier is doing way better than me. He has a family, so he can return to somebody. I looked at my pocket dimension again. I hate being alone...
