Blake's POV

"I fuck up." James mumbled.

"What?" I need him to repeat what he just said because it was very rare that James made a mistake.

"I fuck up."
I check my phone if I recorded it.
Yup. Still recording.

"What happened? The date failed?" I ask.

"No. The date was successful. She loved it. The problem was after the date."

"She ghosted you?"

"No. She doesn't even own any gadgets how would she know the word "ghosting"? She might thought it was a literal ghost."

"What do you mean? No cellphone?"

"None."

"Dude where did you find that girl? My Cara at least own a flip phone!"

I hear James sigh on the other line.

"So back to the issue. Why did you think that you fuck up?"

"The next day I went to Germany. Actually I am still in Germany. No notifications at all Blake I just left her!"

"Oh. You royally fuck up James."

"I know! You don't need to point it out! What should I do?" He said exasperatedly.

"Well fired those people who's the main reason why you are there."

"Already did. I Even threaten them."

"I expect nothing less from you. So go home now. You might still repair the damage that this business trip had done." I advised.

"I'll go back to my girlfriend ASAP."

Girlfriend? Since when?

"Wait. Hold up. Girlfriend? Since when James?"

"Since after our date."

"Did you even ask her?"

"Should I?" He ask unsurely.

"Of course! You just assume that she is your girlfriend?!"

"Fuck."

I laugh outloud. Am I really talking to the James that I know?

"I'll just call her my Girlfriend. If she did not protest then good."

"And if she does?" I challenged.

"No she will not. I'll treat her like a queen so she will not leave me. I'll do everything to make her feel loved."

"Wait. Wait. Rewind! Love?! Am I hearing you right? James!"

*click* *beep* *beep.*

He hang up on me.

He love her already? Who would have thought that the mighty James had fallen.

I hear a beep from my phone
I look at the screen and curse.

How did he even know?

I am not joking. I really went to the mall. My outfit is the bomb.

I imitate the black dress of Audry Hepburn at her movie. Breakfast at Tiffany and I think I really did a good job imitating it.
