Chapter seven

"the bloods moving towards Virginia that cant be right" Kai said confused as he watched Bonnie do the spell and the blood move across the map

"mm-mm. spells working its showing me Mystic Falls" Bonnie said "feels so..." Bonnie said furrowing her eyebrows and then turned to Kai "close" then the fire on the candles rose as Bonnie put her hand on Kai's chest "its right here" and then the candles went out

Kai faked surprise and looked into his pocket and pulled the ascendant "very good" Kai praised looking at Damon

"that's the ascendant?" bonnie questioned

"the one and only" Kai said with a smirk

"thanks for the mind games, jackass" Damon said with a snarl, he was really starting to get sick off him

"it was just another test. to make sure Bonnie was precise enough for the spell" he then smiled at Rain, who just stared at him with a straight face, and then to Bonnie "i do believe your ready" Kai said excited "pack your bags. Were going home" Kai winked at Rain who ignored him and turned around to get her stuff and he just looked at her confused

"Rain?" Kai said as he entered her room

"hmm?" she replied getting her bag ready

"what's wrong?" he asked and she turned to look at him with furrowed eyebrows

"what do you mean? nothings wrong" Rain said with a small smile and putting her bag on her back

"are you sure?"

"positive" she said, still with a small smile. she walked up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek and hugged him "thank you" she whispered in his ear and his hands travelled around her waist

"your welcome, sweat heart" Kai said and they pulled away slightly but Kai's arms were still tightly wrapped around her. he leaned in slowly, his eyes flickering from her eyes to her lips. softly, Kai's lips were attached to Rain's and she kissed back instantly.

They were in perfect sync their tongues fighting for dominance but Kai won and he and he pushed her to the wall, still kissing her. his mouth left hers but were re-attached to her neck as he suck on her skin. a breathy moan left Rain and she could feel him smirk against her skin

"Hurry up, love birds, we don't have all day" Rain and Kai heard Damon shout and they pulled away from each other. Rain was a flustered mess while Kai smirked happily while he looked at her

"i- uh we should get going" Rain said tumbling over her words and he nodded grabbing his bag and they walked down stairs to see Damon and Bonnie

"your wondering around like a crazy man, why?" Damon asked as he watched Kai do something with the ascendant

"I'm looking for the exact right spot, we need to find where the power of the eclipse is focused" Kai said messing with it still and then Rain went over to him and tried to help him with it

"you know, you could've just showed us the ascendant to begin with" Bonnie said

"Yeah, but i wanted to feel your hand on my chest" Kai said quickly and Rain's face dropped and she stopped walking so she was next to Damon

Kai looked to his side to see that Rain wasn't there and then looked back to see the saddened face on her "somethings not right about him" Bonnie said with a confused look

"your not used to guys hitting on you" Damon said and Bonnie snarled him

"you know i cant wait to get out of here" Bonnie said with a huge smile and then looked to Rain to also see the sad look on her face " are you okay Rain?" Bonnie asked and she nodded giving her a fake, small smile
