Alex heard someone knock on the hospital door. He let out a lazy 'come in', expecting the doctor. However, the breath stilled in his chest as the blonde hair, green eye man waltzed in. He donned an expensive suit and looked ridiculously proud of himself.

Remy was as insufferable as ever. Except this time, Alex noticed that something seemed off in his eyes, like he caught some sort of madness that was slowly blooming behind his pupils.

"You're not welcomed here, Remy. You need to go." Alex said in low voice. He tried to hide his nervousness, grateful that he didn't have a heart monitor attached to him.  But he still had an IV that tethered him to the bed.

Remy smiled at him and it was enough to make him shiver. "I needed to see you... I had to know."

"I don't want to see you. Get out of here." Alex said with a shake of his head, but the movement made him feel a little dizzy. He cursed the fact that he was not in his best condition to face off with Remy.

"I know." Remy said, with a sneer.

"You know that I don't want to see you? Good, then get the fuck out." Alex pointed towards the door.

Remy laughed, but it was treading the line of becoming maniacal. "I know... Pres."

Alex shuddered. He hadn't been called Pres for almost a year. It made him sick to hear it. He reached over to the call button for the nurse, but Remy moved faster than him and tossed it to the side and out of reach. He found the phone by the tableside and pushed it away as well. He didn't want Alex to call for anyone.

"I'm Alex, Remy." Alex moved back, trying to create more distance from Remy. He cursed to see that his IV was stopping him from moving further away.

"I've missed you." Remy practically cooed.

Alex felt the revulsion burn through him. "We worked together once, Remy. What the hell is there to miss?"

Remy shushed him. "I know, Pres. I don't know why it took me so long to see it, but now I can see it clearly."

"You need help."

"The way you move, the way you sing, the way you write... every single mannerism has been seared into my brain. I know you, Pres. I know you more than you know yourself." He said, another step closer to Alex.

Alex's eyes flashed to the TV and cursed when he saw Jaxon was still talking to the crowd. Remy seemed to have noticed his gaze and looked at the screen. His smile fell and his eyes turned malicious.

"I was the only one you looked at, but now you keep turning towards Jaxon Reid. You think he deserves to have your gazes?" Remy sneered. The madness was becoming dangerous.

Alex's eyes narrowed. How could he dare try to be possessive? He rubbed the bridge of his nose, trying to ease the headache that was creeping up. "Yes. There is only Jaxon for me. So you can take your 'Pres' bullshit and get the hell out of here."

Remy leaned over, one hand on the bed. He was close enough that Alex could feel his frantic breaths. "No... there is only me, Pres. Only I know you so well. No one else could love you like I do."

"I am not Preston, Remy. I am Alex and you need to go."

"Pres, I love you."

Love? What the hell does Remy know? His love is nonexistent. He only knew how to obsess over fame and use other people.

Preston was lost and broken, and Remy took him in, made him believe that he had feelings for him, and used him. When Remy was done with him, he discarded him like trash. That wasn't love. Preston was used, manipulated, and murdered.
