Hey all, this is just a chapter that explains my hot take on the timeline (I have a whole ass chapter where I was deciphering it) of The Walking Dead.
By all means, you can skip this and move straight onto Chapter 1, but I'm jotting tis down to help explain my reasoning and that.

Okay, so in my fic, Rick gets shot in April.
The outbreak starts on April 18th 2010, same day Rick gets shot. That's why Rick hadn't any idea about the impending doom.
But, as we know, Shane visits Rick on day 14, and (if I'm right) the hospital is taken over the same day, and every patient is killed.
Theres a story in Fear The Walking Dead about an annonymous person called Gale that took care of the remaining patients, until they themselves die (I never watched FTWD but I read this somewhere).
That means Day 59 is June 16th 2010.
Etc etc etc
It goes along this timeline for me.
So Day 61 (Meet the atlanta group) would be June 18th 2010.
Then Day 62 (Merles hand and The Vatos) would be: June 19th 2010
Day 63 (Dr Jenner confirmed it was day 63 in his log in Ep 5) would be: June 20th 2010
Day 64 (BoOm CDC and Visit) would be: June 21st 2010
Then we get to Day 66, where Rick tells Morgan over radio that they lost Jacqui 2 days prior (day 64).
It goes on from there, I'll probably add this into the story, but Idk yet rn.
But yeah, okay.

I've been looking around as well at ages, and most don't show up but I did get a few from the script book.
So at the start, S1:
Rick is about 29 to 34 (I'd say 30, as Rick is apparently two years older than Lori),
Lori is around 28 (somehow),
Carl is 7,
Carl is not 7 he is 12, thank you reader for pointing that out :)
Glenn is 22,
Daryl is in his late 20s, probably (apparently he's a little younger than Rick),
Dale is 64,
Shane is 25?? - which I doubt considering he and Rick talk about being in school together at one point (I think that's S9 oop) so lets say 29,
Amy is 24 (25 the day she died RIP),
Angela is 36-ish (its said she's 12 yrs older than Amy - I never imagined Angela being older than so many ppl damn),
Sophia is apparently 12???,
Carol is apparently in her early 30s
And that's all I could find for s1. 🤷♀️
