I heave a sigh and push myself up, but my husband's arms unconsciously held my waist tighter from the back.

"Hubby..." I whispered, staring to his closed eyes, waiting those two to open.

He didn't respond.

Finally, he wake up.

His knitted brows went to me, "Why, baby?"

"I'm hungry, kanina pa kita ginigising." I stated, little annoyed.

Confused, he look behind me where a big window is covered with a large curtain. You can guess if it's night or day just by judging the color of the curtain. Obviously, it's still midnight.

"It's 1 am. We also had dinner," aniya, tila kinakalkula ang sitwasyon habang ibinabalik ang orasan.

I tsked when I realize he wouldn't care if I'm hungry.

I quickly wear my slippers not minding his watchful stares combined with utter confusion.

"Wife, where are you going?"

I heard his steps from the back but I didn't mind. I went straight to where the fridge is and opened it. Fruits.

I remember the dessert we ate the first time we celebrated our anniversary together. Gusto ko agad bumalik doon, that's already months ago but we weren't able to visit again due to changes of schedules.

"What food do you want, baby?"

I slowly lifted my head and turned to him. Yumakap ito sa akin mula sa likuran, resting his head on my shoulder. He's clingy.

"Macapuno." I answered. "Remember the dessert we ate at our anniversary date?"

He hummed.

"The Panna Cota?"

Tinulak ko siya ng marahan at tumango. I smiled, "Yes. I want that."

"Alright, I can make one."

Mabilis ko naman siyang pinasimula, he groaned a little before he wake himself through washing his face.

He went to the pantry, sinundan ko siya. Kumuha siya ng ilang ingredients, buti na lang at may macapuno in a jar dito. He promised to try making one for me when I told her how much I loved the dessert we have tried, ngayon lang matutuloy.

I watch him do his work while I ocassionaly pinch a pea size amount of mustard to taste.
