after they move in together...

Melissa yawns, sitting up on the couch.
"You've had 3 naps today darlin'!" Ben chuckled.
"Well I'm pregnant, what do you expect?" Mel giggled, rubbing her belly.
The boy kissed her cheek.

"It feels like a dream living here." Mel said, looking up at Ben.
"My dream is in front of me.." The boy whispered.
"Oh shut up!" Mel laughed.
"What? You are my dream and I love you to infinity."
"And beyond?" Mel finished Ben's sentence.

Suddenly, Mel jumped up. "It's nearly Christmas!" She gasped and jumped before running to the bathroom.
"Calm yourself darls'. We still have 3 weeks." Ben shouted.
"That's 21 days!" She shouted back.
"I mean when you put it like that.."

Ben had planned a very big surprise..
A very big surprise...

Mel came back to the lounge and asked, "please can we make pancakes?"
"But it's 5pm." Ben tried to reason.
"Well we are, and you're helping me." Mel tried to pull her boyfriend.
Ben never said anything and just followed her to the kitchen.

The two made the pancakes, Mel had Nutella and strawberries whilst Ben had lemon and syrup.
"How can you have lemons on pancakes?" Mel asked not looking at the lemons.
"How can ya' not?" The boy took a big bite.
Mel gagged at the sight.

Once the two finished their pancakes, without Mel throwing up, they played a game of uno.
Mel had 3 cards left, Ben had 5 left.
"Yes!" Mel shouted.
Ben had to pick another card up, Mel placed down her second card.
"UNO!" She shouted whilst Ben threw his remaining cards.
"What a scam." Ben muttered under his breath.

"I'm going to bed Benny!" Mel laughed.
"I'll see ya' there." Ben slouched and pouted.
Once she got upstairs, Ben got on his phone and called his good friend.
"Oi Madders, I'm wanting to propose to Melissa. But I don't know to do it on Christmas or her birthday." Ben whispered down the phone.
"Do it on Christmas, then she isnt overwhelmed with the baby." James gave advice.
"Thanks mate."

The two boys wrapped the call up and Ben went upstairs.
"I heard you talk to James. You sounded really happy." Mel smiled at her boyfriend who just walked in.
"Thanks darlin', but I'm glad you sound happy with your friends." Ben hopped into the bed, kissing Mel's forehead.
"I love you baby." Mel whispered into Ben's shoulder.
"I love you more darling."

With that they both fall asleep.
