baram kept silent, still absorbing what jaehyun had said.

she wanted to tell him the truth but it turns out he was the one who told the truth to her.

she wanted to explain everything to jaehyun, but it turns out he was the one who explain what he felt.

this wasn't she planned to happen and this wasn't what she wanted to hear.

the tears keeps rolling down her cheeks, what jaehyun said was did painful to hear. she never knew what he have been through, she's just too afraid to reach out to him and afraid that she might've hurt him again for the second time.

"jaehyun... i'm so sorry." that was the only word that she could say to him, he left her speechless.

it shook her even more when jaehyun pull out one of the chairs beside and sat next to her before pulling her into a hug.

god, this is making her weak even more. his vanilla scent never changed.

maybe those thing wouldn't happen if she sticks to jaehyun, if she really play her role as his girlfriend.

if she really did good to jaehyun, maybe the worst thing she wanted to happen will not happen.

jaehyun was good, he's a very excellent boyfriend. baram can't denied that.

jaehyun really cherishes something he loves and what makes him happy. if baram would appreciate him more, they wouldn't be end up hurt.

"it's okay, it's already happend and we cannot change to what has happend." he said while softly stroking her hair as he pull her head to lay on his shoulder.

the feeling that has been lost for a long time finally came back, the feeling of secure, the feeling of safe and protected finally came back.

baram cannot lie, jaehyun was the only who can make her feel comfortable and safe. he was the one who can make her felt like home.

but what both of them did today felt wrong. even if everything is arranged, baram knew that his fiancé did love him from the bottom of her heart.

with her head laying on his shoulder felt wrong, this felt like cheating. it suddenly bring back the memory she have forgotten.

even if it was an arrange marriage, jaehyun is still going to marry her. it's his parents order. knowing jaehyun in her whole life, jaehyun is very loyal to his parents.

and no wonder he made it this far about arranging his marriage with irene.

"and i cannot lie that i'm still in love with you."

baram pull up her head and stared back at jaehyun's eyes. those words was the last words she wanted to hear from him, this is what she afraid the most.

"you can't," baram said, "don't you remember what i've done to you and your heart? why? why jung jaehyun?"

"i just can't let go of you just yet, baram." he replied, taking her shaking hands into his, "i can't let you go like that, i should've protect you so bad things won't happened."

"this doesn't make sense." she mumble, eyes still stared back at him.

"why now? why'd you suddenly came back to my life and make me think twice about marrying irene?" he said in soft tones as he looked at baram in the eyes.

baram confused, she shook her head didn't know how to respond. everything that is happening right now wasn't what she wanted.

nature leads them back to see each other for the last time, before jaehyun finally settles with the girl that is perfect for her.

"jae.. you should've moved on, i'm not the girl that is fit for you." she said still in her teary eyes.

"i did," he said letting out a long sigh, his fingers still latched with hers, "but i guess those feelings never left."

baram shook her head, closed her eyes as another tear left her eyes followed with a shaky breath left between her lips.

his words hit her once again.

"no," she said and paused, "don't make it more harder than it already is jaehyun--i'm going to design your fiance's and your wedding suites. don't let me or the past get the hold of your wedding, i'm begging you."

jaehyun place his palms against her cheeks, wiping down the tears that is still clear as his eyes roaming around her face.

she knew that look, the look of missing someone. he used to did that to baram whenever they both have time with each other.

"j-jaehyun?" a familiar voice alert her and without anymore words baram looked towards the door.

this was the last thing she ever wanted to happen.

jaehyun seeing this person again when he's with her.

"jhonny hyung?" jaehyun said with a little frown on his face and johnny make his way towards them with a confused look plastered on his face.

baram knew that jhonny has a lot of question going on in his head just by looking to what was plastered on his face.

"w-what's going on here?" he asked as he placed his things on the chair across the two of them.

baram quickly wiped the tears on her face, try to look as usual so that jhonny didn't ask any question that he doesn't need to know.

"n-nothing, jhonny. we're just talking--"

"she's the girl that i've been telling you about, hyung." jaehyun suddenly spoke, earning a shook face from the two.

baram's eyes went wide, never knew that jaehyun have talked about her with jhonny, her fellow classmates back in america.

all this time, jhonny knew about jaehyun's love life yet jhonny didn't know who the girl was and now he knows.

"n-no way.." jhonny said, the tone of disappointment lingers as he spoke. jhonny looked at baram then jaehyun back and forth.

baram didn't know how to explain. jhonny must've lost his words just looking by his face.

this is what baram scared the most right now; in the same room with the two of them.
