baram ended the call with lucas and cannot help but to smile down to her phone before placing it down, trying to observe what just happened.

she can't help but to smile widely as the butterfly in her stomach tickles her.

after weeks of not seeing lucas' face, the earth had spoken that it's time for her to see him again.

but then she stood still, the smile on her face disappear when she knew that this was just a friendly lunch not a date that she needs to dress up nicely for him to impress.

was it just a friendly lunch? or she just hoped that it was more than that?

baram than shook her head, trying to let go of those crazy voices and thoughts on her head before continuing what she had left off.

working alone was hard, she had to move and pick up heavy things by herself.

johnny cannot be reached so as jungwoo. both of them still pissed at her for some reason and baram didn't know how to make it up to them that they probably won't speak to her even if the saw her around the house.

they maybe exaggerate a little but baram knew how cared they were towards her. she cannot argue with that.

"i'm not going to see lucas like this." she said to herself after placing the big three piece mirror in the center of the room.

she could see sweat dripping down on the side of her head, hair sticking here and there, then her shirt drenched in sweat too.

thank god that she brought spare clothes with her since she knew that she'll be working her store alone and thank god that there's a bathroom that is big enough for her to change and even to take a short bath.

after done setting things up in the center room, she went to the window display and place all the mannequin on it's place before closing the white pearl curtains and turned off her store sign.

"i guess i'm done." baram said to herself as she looked around the room she had done working.

after all the struggle she went through, ups and downs, now she's here, having her own business. she have to say that she's grateful to what have happen to her life back then, if not, she wouldn't be here standing inside the store with all the work that she's already poured in.

everything seems to be in the right place, yet something inside her felt that something was missing.

baram bite her bottom lip, try to think what was missing yet nothing popped out from her head.

she then look down to her clock and gasp when it was almost time for her to have "lunch" with lucas and quickly went inside her office, took her spare clothes and shut the bathroom door closed before she quickly took a short bath.

baram stood outside her store, waiting for the familiar car stopped in front of her.

just when baram finished her short bath, lucas texted her that he was on his way to pick her up towards the location she just sent to him and sigh in relieve that she still have time do her hair and make up.

even though the clothes she brought with her wasn't that formal, yet she still can pull off the lunch with her sunflower dress that she buy back when she's in china and a pair of white mules flats and pull it off with a black square bag.

she haven't have that much time to iron her hair so she just let her wavy hair be the end of her style.

soon enough a black suv porsche stopped in front of her and made her brows wrinkle.

baram never see this car before yet she probably knew who it was and when the window on the driver seat rolls down a smile appeared on her face.

"hey there cutie." it was the first word he said to her before stepping out the car.

baram didn't miss the way lucas glance at her from head to toe and gave her another wide smile of his that for some reason still melts her heart before stopped back at her hazel eyes.

"ready for our lunch?" he asks as he bring his big ass hand for her to grab that made baram stared down at it before taking it and nodded her head.

lucas leads the way towards her seat and opens the door for her. baram couldn't help but blush and notice how their clothes match.

he wear a yellow polo shirt with a white trousers with a pair of white sneakers. lucas closed the door and went to his side with a little jog before settling down, not forget to wear a seat belt.

"sorry if i took too long to pick you up, i have to change my clothes--what you look at that? aren't we a perfect couple?" he joked and that sure made baram blush and made her heart went crazy.

he was sure twenty minutes late after he said that he was on his way and didn't told her on the phone why.

baram smiled but didn't reply what lucas just said and let the song on the radio played.

as both of them arrived at the restaurant, baram couldn't help but to feel nostalgic. she didn't know if this nostalgic thing brings her joy or sorrow.

it was mark's place.

the place where lucas begged for her to be his fake girlfriend in front of seolhyun. all the events replyaed in her head and made her stopped her move as she hopped off the passenger seat.

the day where everything starts to crumble her life into pieces, the day where she start accepting playing fire with the devil.

she knew lucas notice the sudden change aura around baram as he was about to open the door beat she beats him for it.

"are you okay?" he asks and went closer towards baram.

baram stood silent for a second. all of this are already past, if she's with lucas right now, that means she already forgiven everything that has happen right?

there's no reason for her to be mad or not in the mood to continue the lunch with lucas.

"i'm fine--it's just--not such a good memories about this place." baram said avoiding lucas' eyes that showed guilty.

"w-we can change place if you--"

"no, its okay, it's the past right? i'm having lunch with the devil afterall." baram said and left lucas dumbstruck beside his car as she walk inside the restaurant first.
