"johnny.." his name slipped between her lips in a whisper yet she knew that lucas could hear her despite how close their distance are.

she saw jaehyun first, he was leaning against the wall looking like a hot snack that baram couldn't deny.

he changed, he used to be a very quiet--introverted person that would always wear something soft and romantic kind of guy.

the way he changed his hair style and the way he dressed; a little part of baram regret not able to know what it's like to be around the "new jaehyun".

deep down baram knew that it was just the way he dressed and jaehyun will never change his good personalities. it's still the same jaehyun.

and then there's johnny.

she knew that there will some time that the both of them hung out together, sooner or later. but not this soon, where the two of them are hanging out outside a club just beside the restaurant that baram had lunch.

if johnny saw her right now, he'll be even more pissed.

"let's get out of here." lucas said, seeing how her face turned scared and frighten and as a clue he pull baram towards the car and went to his side before starting the engine.

the ride was quite, even though johnny didn't saw her earlier but jaehyun did. he could told him that he saw her rubbing her lips to another man--lucas to be precise where both of them knew how her history with him.

it's like eating her own words. both of them sure knew how she hated lucas but now, she just kissed him at the parking lot where everyone could see.

what another scandal she could make to ruin her life again.

"wait," baram spoke after a long silence, "this isn't the way home." she said when she saw lucas took another lane that went to the other side to where her house is.

"i know," he replied, eyes focused on the road before lands on her, "but i know a place where we can call it a day for our lunch."

baram gave him a questioning look before chuckles. it's funny where the clock ticks at eleven sharp and it's way over lunch but he still want this moment to end beautifully.

baram know how hard lucas wanted to start everything over with her. he wanted to do good, better or even excellent in her eyes.

she cannot deny that there's a spot that was build inside her heart slowly.

the car stops on a very wide park that makes her brows form into a frown, "it's closed, what are we doing here?"

it is beautiful, baram cannot lie and how the building stood behind the small hills and the lake glisten as the building light shone the dark night makes the view even more beautiful.

"how can i miss it," baram chuckles as she found a sign that shows lucas' logo company, "it's yours."

both of them share laugh before stepping out the car and went to one of the bench, eyes focused on the scenery in front of them.

"this is beautiful lucas," baram said after a minute of silence and calming herself, "thank you."

lucas smiled, taking her small hands into his and cares her front hand softly, "i do know a lot of places around the city."

he said cockily that makes baram playfully slap him on the arm and chuckle at his reaction.

both of them kept silent for a moment, taking all the beautiful scenery that was placed in front of them.

the night is getting deeper yet the city looks still alive just from where the two of them are. seoul is the city that never dies here and how breathtaking is the view.

"is there something in your mind, baram?" he asks after a minute of silence that finally breaks.

baram let out a long sigh, didn't know weather she told him what's in her head or not; everything that's welling up inside her head contains him, most of the part in her head.

it's either she's too embarrassed to tell him what's going on between her head and heart that didn't seem to be in one team or just not the right time to pour everything out for him--some of them had been poured.

"there's a lot of things going on in my head lucas that i cannot tell you one by one." she replied, looking down her hands before fiddling with the hem of her shirt.

it took her by surprise that lucas stood up from his seat and kneel in front of her, matching her eye level before grabbing her hands with his both of his large ones.

he locked gazes with her, tears are brimming on her eyes about to fall in seconds.

she knew how sincere he is to her, she knew that lucas isn't playing around when it comes to something that is bothering her own mind that even herself didn't know how to solve all of that.

"i'm here baram, i can help you out." he said with his soft tone as he grasp baram's small hands into his.

baram froze for a second, didn't know how to respond to lucas' proposal since she didn't want anyone to get involved with her own matters.

she learned from the past, she make her own problems she had to solve it her own. she hurt too many people in her life, sacrificing them for the things they didn't do.

lucas let out a long sigh and make his lips into a thin line and baram knew that was a symbol of disappointment.

all she wanted now was to scream, that's for sure.

"let's go home, it's getting kinda late." baram said with a weak smile as she stood up from her seat, dusting off the invisble dirt on her pants before walks towards the car, leaving lucas a little bit confused.

just before she reach the door, she felt a strong grip on her arm and turn her around and just before she could process what was going on, lucas went in for a kiss.

his plump red lips met hers once again.

baram wanted to pull away but she melts down when lucas deepen the kiss by pulling her waist and place his other hand on her neck, his thumb caress her soft red cheeks.

soon enough lucas break the kiss, rested his forehead againts hers as both of them try to steady their own breath.

"i'll promise you that everything you went through will go away," lucas said, staring right to her eyes, "marry me."
