"i-i heard you lived in chicago?" he asks and baram nodded her head, didn't dare to utter a word to jaehyun. baram didn't ask him where she heard the news from because no one knew about her sudden disappearence.

"h-how are you?" jaehyun asked again, opening another topic.
baram let out a sigh before closing her eyes more a mere second and re-opening them again.
"i'm.. i'm f-fine jae."
jae. the word that she used to call him, her nick name for him and how he loved it back then when she called him that but everything's different now, but he seems to taken aback by what she called him.
"i-i mean jaehyun." baram is still not used to meeting him, "y-you?" she quickly asks back to change the atmosphere.
he nodded his head, eyes landing down to the flower he brought with him, "good, i'm doing just fine."
"so i guess..." he trailled off, playing with the hem of his blazer, "you just got back from chicago?"
"y-yeah," baram replied, cannot help but stuttering, "w-what are you doing here?"
baram wanted to run, she wante dto avoid being seen with someone she knew especially the two guys that are very affecting her lives. she tapped her feet on the floor, annoyed by why the hell jungwoo taking so long.
if jungwoo came fast, she would've meet jaehyun.
"i-i was waiting for my fiancè actually." jaehyun replied.

baram cannot help but blinked her eyes multiple times and swallow the lump on her throat even though it felt dry. baram tried so hard to recall what he was saying or did she even heard it right.
