"why did you never tell me lee taeyong and how long have you knew about it?" lucas asks as soon as jeno had left lucas' office and left the two grown men continue their conversation.

"i told you, you've been busy continuing the six years ago project--which is still ongoing, and then your marriage, and then xiyeon's birth. you have zero time for me to give you an infromation that you want." taeyong explains and lucas nodded his head.

lucas had tried everything to find baram, hired as many men as he could and start a search party if he have too, yet he wasted his time when taeyong have a cousin who loved in chicago and is a friend of baram.

he is so close yet he didn't realize how close he was not until today.

"plus, i don't want to stress you and place even more burden on your shoulders." taeyong continue, giving lucas his sincere look.

"but how do we know that your cousin will be by her side twenty four hours?" lucas asks and taeyong give lucas his best smile.

"we're going need your men for a close watch." taeyong said and finally stood up from his chair and went towards the door but stopped midway, "just wait for another five months and they'll be back, he'll be home after graduate design school."

with that taeyong left the office, leaving lucas in shock and happy.

it's strange how taeyong change his thoughts of lucas searching for baram in a click of seconds. he demand to stop lucas' search yet he then helped him with such a full information.

somehow that brings lucas into confusion. since when taeyong is interest in lucas' love life, to be precise, lucas' life. taeyong was the one person who always put work first rather than anything, eventhough he and lucas are friends, taeyong never forgets about work.

for some reason, lucas didn't know how to feel. should he feel grateful or should he feel suspicious.

lucas locked his car as he went to the place where his third branch building is about to be build.

the building is on the other side of seoul, just on the outskirt of seoul and sincheng will be the one who hold the new building.

his father demands that his sons should be working together and held the title as the young ceo.

a sigh left his lips when he saw the land, it's still thirthy percent on progress and then he look to his left, to see his brother standing beside him with hands tucked insde his trousers.

"looking pretty good here, don't you think didi?" sincheng said glancing back and forth from the land and his brother.

lucas nodded his head, "i never knew father would want you to be a ceo too, i thought you have your own company back in china."

"i have, but kyulkyung is going to take care of it and besides, everyone is pretty settle here, might as well follow them rather be alone in china." sicheng said eyes still scanning around the land that he didn't realize that he recieve a look from his brother.

"what?" sicheng asks.

"who's kyulkyung? i just heard that name." lucas asks and earn a long sigh from sicheng before he turn around and face his younger brother.

"i brought her to our parents wedding anniversary," he paused, looking at his brother eyes before continue, "but you, yuk-hei are too busy with baram problem. you're too occupied with her that you forgot our parents wedding anniversary and i also propose my girlfriend that night."

lucas shrug, he wasn't sure when his parents ask him to come to their wedding anniversary. he never recieve such as calls, message or even meet face to face.

all of lucas' parents are here in korea, since the headquarter in china are in a good hands of lucas' father brother, kun, it's time for his parents to have a long rest and it's moving out from china to korea, living in lucas' old apartment.

after all, lucas' wedding took place here in korea, his parents have no option but to move for a while.

"i never knew my brother could be so obessive about something--someone to be precise--baram to be exact," sicheng said, "you've changed yuk-hei, i never seen you so crazy about looking for someone."

lucas let out a sigh as his feet plays with the pebble under his expensive shiny leather shoes before.

what sicheng said was right, lucas never knew looking for baram could stress him out that he forget about what he have outside the baram world.

he should focus on his work and to his daughter, xiyeon.

"i don't know," lucas slowly reply, "it makes me crazy that she recieve something that wasn't meant for her--she didn't deserve all thatl, i drag her into my shit."

"i still want to see her, i still need her to hear my apologies," lucas continue, his eyes about to tearing up remembering bad things that happen to baram that he caused it, "i still want her to know how guilty i am for her, she never did anything bad but help me with everything."

"now she's out there, somehwere and maybe she feel traumatic because of what happened. she moved away because she doesn't feel save around me!"

never in sicheng's entire life heard or see that lucas look like he wanted to comitted a suicide. never in sicheng's life knew that lucas could be this broken because of just one girl yet it was because of his fault.

lucas could be strong, look like he didn't have any weakness, but everyone knew that when it comes to someone you love, that is a weakness.

sicheng stared down at his brother who was now sniffing. a long sigh left the older one before patting the younger one back softly and carefuly as if lucas was a fragile male.

"you really going crazy huh?" he asks and lucas can only nodd his head and lift his heads up.

"i am about to go crazy."

"and you really love her, don't you?" he asks again and lucas reply with a nodd.

lucas took a deep breath, wiping off some tears that are trailling down his face before let the breath escape from his lips.

"no matter how, what i have to do to make baram to come home and what risks do i have to take, i wil do it for the sake of baram. because the pain she felt isn't comparable with my pain."
