"God!" I turned on my heel after walking into the locker room.

"Sorry" Megan tried not to show she was laughing. My luck amazes me. I just had to- it seems- walk in at the worst moment. I mean who else had the unfortunate talent to walk in just as their demon crush's identical sister is wearing nothing from the waist up. Nothing. I guess the only positive part of that experience was that she only had her back to me.

"Have you seen Micha?" I opened the door only enough for my voice to be heard on the other side, not enough to see any more of the black haired triplet.

"Yes. She said something came up and I told her I'd be fine driving you in her place" she was still trying not to leak a giggle.

"Uh... Sure. Any idea why?" I stumbled forward when Megan opened the door I'd been leaning on. She'd put on her shirt and hopefully her bra too. With that business tended to, she was weaving a light blue towel through her hair to dry it, one end of it draped over her shoulder.

"Yeah. Her younger sister is going to be in the area. The N.S. has learned not to deal with sibling affairs involving thirds, so she's staying here until Hadas is out of reach" she shrugged. "It seems like an extreme measure, but it's a surprisingly helpful rule"

"Okay. I'll just follow you around until we go?"

"Yeah. I'm just about ready to go, but there is just one small complication-" the girl was I interrupted by another soaked girl. The latter was, to more my misfortune, fresh out of the shower and still in her towel.

"Grace"

"That" Megan pointed to her sister. "Angry driving, hit a curb, got her license suspended, her car is in for repairs" Hazel grumbled to herself while she collected her clothing from her duffel bag, and disappeared back into the other part of the room to put them on. "Hey, if you're really not fine with it, I can try to convince Riley or another agent to drive you" the younger girl stated as she ruffled her hair and tossed her towel into a large bin of other wet or dirty towels.

"It's okay" I shrugged it off.

"Excuse me if I am talking advantage of the fact that you are too polite to be honest. Sweetie, we both know you'd rather go with someone else. So, I guess, thanks for having no choice" she giggled.

"You mean Hazel, don't you?" I exhaled.

"Not originally. Can't exactly say there is no resemblance" she mused. "And, speaking of things that resemble my sister, I am sorry about earlier. I hope you don't mind me laughing about it" she put a hand over her mouth to conceal her laughter.

"Megan" Hazel returned fully clothed, but no longer in her dull N.S. clothing. She wore dark blue jeans -I was trying not to notice exactly how good she looked in them-, a black tank top under a nearly transparent white shirt with a picture of a -and the words- 'black cat' printed on it. Aside from that, she had her usual jacket covering her, in this case a black hoodie.

She gave Megan a black hair elastic off her wrist. The elder triplet quickly put Hazel's hair up in a tight high bun; the kind I really didn't like because it always showed off her annoyingly gorgeous face, and amplified her already ample cheek bones. Long story short: I don't like it. I really, really love the way she looks. But that's exactly why I don't like it.

"Grace" I realized Hazel had found my eyes. And I had found hers, regrettably.

"Hm?" I groaned, glaring at her. She didn't even give me a reply, she just put on this triumphant smirk that made me feel like a mouse staring down an eagle.

"We're leaving now" Hazel got up, still wearing that unsettling Cheshire Cat grin, and made her way out of the lockers. Megan rolled her eyes but still we followed her out to Megan's car.

"Megan! What is this?!" Hazel snapped when she opened the passenger seat door of her sister's car

"That is paperwork that I no longer need an that I am bringing home to burn" Megan shrugged and got into the drivers seat. "Grace, I hope you don't mind Hazel sitting in back with you"

"I still mind, but I have stuff to distract me" I collapsed into my seat and whipped out my phone before Hazel could open her door. Micha had already sent me like five ridiculous selfies with her and Kayla. God, without them actually being animate and giving me those weird radiations, it took me a fair amount of guessing to decide which of them was Micha.

I felt Hazel watching me, and after a while she tried to grab the phone out of my hands. My response was instantly to slap her away, to which she growled.

"Stop talking to Micha" she grumbled. Just to spite her I sent Micha a text.

Me : Micha! Hi! Hazel told me not to talk to you. So how are you? ;)

"What did I just say?!" Hazel snapped. "Why won't you listen to me?!" I really wish I had my index cards right about now.

Micha : hah. Hi Zelly, I know you're reading this ;) don't bother my Gracie

Hazel hissed and snatched the phone out of my hands.

Me : GO AWAY

I stole it back from her.

Micha : lol Zel give grace back her phone

"Why do you have to talk to her?" Hazel groaned. I noticed that Megan was being awfully quiet, and watching the two of us through her rear view mirror with an amused smirk on her face.

I really, really wanted to make some retort and argue with Hazel -don't ask me why, I have no idea- but I am not going to end my silent treatment just yet. Once I do, God knows that girl won't shut up.

"I'm inviting you to talk. Why is it that you are quiet when I ask you to speak, and when I want you silent, you refuse to acknowledge me?" She said it almost like a statement. For about fifteen seconds she just glared at me and I ignored her. After that, she caved and started whining again.

"Hazel, leave the girl alone" Megan eventually spoke up. I sighed when Hazel just kept complaining and elected to fish my earbuds out of my pocket, plug them into my phone, put them on, and play the the Fall Out Boy album I just got. I could still feel Hazel glaring daggers at me, but if she hasn't killed me with her evil eye by now, she never will.

I felt her yank the cord of my ear bud, pulling my left one out, and causing an unpleasant feeling in my right ear from the jerking mechanism.

"Ow!" I exclaimed instinctively. Hazel was giving me a victorious leer.

"There. You stopped ignoring me" she purred with an annoyingly boastful edge to her voice. I suppressed a grumble and stole my ear bud back out of her hand, and resumed listening to whatever song was on.

. . .

By the time I got back, I had had enough Hazel for the next eight lifetimes, or more depending on how long it takes her to kill me. But that's not the bad news. The bad news is that there was another car parked in my driveway, and even without looking at the owner -who was standing on my porch, talking on the phone- I knew exactly who it was.

**that was probably the most uneventful chapter yet... And that's all I gotta say. See yall next chapter! Happy Thursday, and hope you will be enjoying my week off very soon :) I see a lot of Hazel shenanigans in the future
