Did I just leave him? Gosh, what's wrong with me... well, it's not like I can fight dad.

I run out of the building then slow my pace as I saw him walking out of the darkness with Pogo holding hands. I approached them walking elegantly, hands on my front, keeping my head up high, chest up, shoulder relaxed and stomach in just like how Grace taught me.

"How's your fun?" I asked walking beside him. "Not even worth it." He replied flatly placing his hand on my back as if to guide me. I burst out laughing. He sure is a brave one, challenging father without any weapon. "I'm sure he did his very best, father."

We walked away in silence, refusing to even glance behind me knowing the moment I saw those green eyes I would run back no question asked.

My heart is beating so fast for no reason at all the instant I saw him, I can't seem to take my eyes off of him. It's like he's pulling me like a magnet, I repressed a smile on my face as I imagine his shocked face a while ago but even though I suppressed the smile it appears I couldn't fight the blush that stained my cheeks. It wasn't every day I would look forward to something other than food.

He has such weird questions though, like him calling my father 'dad' or about us being together. Isn't it normal to have bonding time with your daughter as a father? I guess not all are treated the same way just as I expected, extraordinary or not.

We ended up in my father's vehicle not too long. He opened the bask seat for me and Pogo before closing it softly then seating on the driver seat, as silence engulfed the entire car. Pogo cutely moved closer to me and snuggle to my waist, yawning out of tiredness. I smiled softly and I start to brush Pogo's small hair with my fingers.

He started the engine of the car and that's the online time I decided to glance back only to see nothing but darkness. I let out a long sigh making father raise one of his eyebrows. After the long silence father started to speak.

"We are invited to the gala. The time would be 5 pm sharp, the other details are irrelevant as Grace would help you up." He said glancing at me in the side mirror before looking back at the road. "Did anyone see you?" He asked making me shake my head in denial.

"No one can see me, I'm too fast." I smirked lying making him break out of laughter not suspecting anything. "Indeed, you are. My daughter." He said as he nods in pride.

That's all the conversation we have as the silence began to make its way again. I look at my window, watching the scenery and enjoying the calmness of today's event even if my heart is about to go crazy.
