We were now sitting in a random cafe eating lunch. I got a chicken salad and River got chicken tenders and fries. For as long as I've known him, he's refused to get anything else at a restaurant. Our food had just come and I couldn't wait to try my salad, it looked so good.

" These fries are so good." he said, moaning at the taste, I shook my head at him.
He pressed a fry against my mouth, " Trust me." he said. I opened my mouth and he shoved the fry inside.
A surprised look came onto my face, " Damn." he was right, they're really good.
" I told you." he grinned at me. He took a sip of water before standing up, " Where're you going?" I asked.
" Bathroom." he said before walking off. I continued eating my salad in peace, enjoying the relaxing atmosphere.
Until I heard someone clear their throat. I turned my head to see Simone and her friend Tanya standing in front of me.
" Eating by yourself?" Simone asked in a bitchy tone.
" Yep." I replied with a tight smile.
" Wow and two meals. I mean, I know you're fat but don't you think you're over doing it?" Tanya remarked in a snark tone.
" Nope." I said, popping the p and eating another one of River's fries.
" I mean, I knew David said you were gaining weight but I didn't think it'd be this bad." Simone said, her eyes trailing up and down my body, leaving a trail of judgement in their wake.
As much as I didn't want to believe it, it does sound like something David would say. He's always on top of me about my weight. At first I found it kind of annoying but now I'm kind of grateful for it, he just wanted me to be skinny.
" Fuck off." I grumbled, my appetite was now gone. I felt guilty about eating, knowing David would probably be annoyed with me.
" Simone." River's voice sounded annoyed as he sat back down.
