Family Drama

I got home on Tuesday so I picked up Skylar from my parents and we've been having fun while she's on summer vacation from school. Gionna is coming over tonight and Anna and Thea should be here tomorrow. I was really tired Gionna, Skylar, and I were watching Finding Nemo when I happened to doze off.

Skylar: Aunt Gionna can you make the TV louder? I can't hear over Daddy's snoring.

Liv: I don't want to wake him up he's really tired.

Skylar: It's okay, I've seen this movie a bigillion times.

Liv: I have an idea

Skylar: What is it?

Liv: Let's paint Daddy's nails while he's sleeping.

The girls started to giggle while they painted my nails.

Skylar: Daddy looks so pretty now.

Liv: He does, I think we did a good job. It's time for bed kiddo.

Skylar: What about Daddy?

Liv: Let's just leave him on the couch.

Skylar: I'll go get him a blankie.

They covered me and then went to sleep. I was woken up the next morning by the doorbell. When I opened it I saw Anna standing outside.

Travis: Hey baby.

I gave her a kiss and then she came inside.

Anna: I like the pink nails babe they really look nice.

I looked down at my hands and saw that they were painted.

Travis: I'm going to get those two back.

A little while later Gionna came into the living room and saw Anna and I talking.

Liv: Hey girl what's up?

Anna: Hey, not much just admiring your brothers nails. You did a good job.

Liv: Thanks, I had some help from Skylar.

Anna: I can't wait to meet her. I'm sure she's adorable.

*Later in the day*

Thea finally made it over and the girls were helping me cook dinner. Our parents were coming over so they could meet Anna. While were in the kitchen Skylar comes in with Mom and Dad.

Skylar: Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa are here.

Dad: Hey Gionna, oh my god hey Thea. It's been so long how are you?

Dad gave her a hug.

Zelina: I'm good Mark how about you?

Dad: I've been good just working hard.

Travis: Hey Mom, hey Dad.

Mom: Hey Sweetie.

Dad: Hi.

Thea looks over at Gionna puzzled.

Zelina: What's going on with them?

Liv: It's a long story. Dad's been being an asshole to him for the past few years. They're not seeing eye to eye.

Zelina: They've always been so close I hope they figure things out.

Liv: That makes two of us girl. They are driving me crazy.

Travis: Guys this is my girlfriend, Anna.

We all had dinner and then when we finished we were in the garage talking.
